  1. I posted before, but that was before the vote. I am doing classes at Digital Scrapper and will be active there. My next activity will be The Studio. I always try to do the LAD and will start doing the other challenges. Might even host a challenge myself. They use to have a lot monthly challenges so maybe some of them will start up again with some new participation. I will try to keep up with the forum at Oscraps and FB. Don't know how many challenges I'll do. I want to continue working on my Project Life for this year. Not sure sure where it might get posted, probably FB. Will pop in occasionally at Gingerscraps to see what is going on. Depends on how busy I get doing other things with summer trips and yard work. I posted some bird pictures on Motivators if anyone is interested.
  2. @Jane in N.ZJane, if you don't want to get very involved yet, but want to scrap, use your stash and share your LOs DS is a good place to be. If you need help with anything, such as a problem with Adobe, Mac etc you can ask and get help. You can take lessons, learn at your own pace and enjoy the process. There are a lot of free tuts to choose from, or you can purchase a class to work with. You can always join a forum and 'lurk' to see what the rest of us are up too without joining in to much. I did that for years.
  3. The Oscraps LO requirement is also restrictive in that the 50% current designer MUST have the kit in the store, no retired kits is my understanding. I did some challenges there a few years ago and while I did manage to get them posted I had a terrible time doing so. That did turn me off, especially since SG was so easy. But never say never and I'm back to checking them out. A great number of their designers are faviortes of mine. No problem of meeting the LO requirements for me. I'm sitting here crying in my beer! Hard to do when I don't like beer, but......Just can't believe we only have a few short weeks left.
  4. Well I have already changed my mind about where I'm going to live! Tracy left a trail of cookie crumbs and I followed her to the cookie jar over at Gingerscraps. I get bored easily so I am going to have a variety of places to hang out, at least at first. @TracyI kept my moniker, scrapgarden, at all sites except Katie Pertiet's. In ancient times you were not allowed to use your name. And it is too hard or not possible to change names now. Besides no one would know who I was.

    Sympathy card for Bob

So beautiful. I really like it. Will keep a copy to scraplift.
  6. Me too, I love Darryl's designs and hope she lands somewhere. My wishlist is chock full with many of her kits, even though I already have a lot of them. Here note is so sweet and just like a ScrapGirl!
  7. I know how ya'all feel about scrapping. I finally made an ATC, first thing I've done since the news. I do feel more inclined to scrap since I posted my intentions. A concrete decision. I can still add to it, but the basic is decided.
  8. Here is my first ATC. A Wren for April

  10. I am so sorry you have had such a sad first experience. I have signed up to follow your shop at Kofi. I haven't used a lot of your papers, but do like them. Wishing you the best.
  11. This is a spot to let everyone know where you are going to be, if you have already decided. I am staying with Digital Scrapper and The Studio, where I will become more active. I also intend to join the ScrapGirls FB group. If a large number of you decide to go with GingerScraps I will also be more active over there. I am already a member, just not active if it doesn't involve buying!🛒 I have given this much thought and this is what I have decided is best for me. Sounds like there will be a lot of SGs on one, if not more, of these sites. I will probably not join any other sites.
  12. @TracyTracy, glad you posted your experience. Since it is a community teaching site you usually sign up through a class. When you start a class there is a place several lessons down that allows you to join. Since I had tons of classes way back when every time there was a change in the site I was sorta grandfathered in with my old Linda Sattgast account.
  13. @Jana_2worldsartJust bookmarked your store. Don't do much art journaling, but enjoy getting inspiration from you.
  14. Goody, goody, I have most of your things, but not all! So glad you are not retiring.
  15. Marlene, I don't know about being a CT member but would love to do some pages for you using your templates. Especially using my bird pictures. Right now I would post on The Studio and Digital Scrapper. If the group goes to GingerScraps I will be going there too and posting there. Just let me know if you would like me to do something.
  16. I don't think I will be able to join in. Had planned to do most pages after we got home on the 18th. Sounded like a perfect challenge for me too. All the pages are looking awesome so far.

    My Story 1-1

This is great! I like the simplicty of it for my grandkids. They relate better to aunt so and so, uncle ?, Grandpa & Grandma ?, using the names they call them by. They don't seem to be interested in the details! I feel a scraplift coming on.😁
  18. Wonderful. Love the little ribbon at the top. And that the text is on labels.
  19. Just love this. I can see I'm going to have to download a bunch of these onto my computer!
  20. Very moving. And alas, so true about mankind.
  21. Great work with Procreate. Will have to see on IG, I have never been there before.
  22. So sooo cute. I'm with all the above!!
  23. Beautiful. Would love to use this on a page. Really like the quote.
  24. Just sent address to April. Thanks for arranging this. Lynne Sims -- Scrapgarden
