I am a 40-something married mother of 3 beautiful girls, and also have a step-son and step-daughter. I have 3 grandchildren, one girl and two boys, with another granddaughter due on Thanksgiving. I have custody of my 3-month-old grandson, Hunter, and have had him since he was 3 weeks old. My step-daughter is having "issues" and we are in the process of trying to obtain permanent custody of him ... so far she has failed to do anything positive to demonstrate she is able to take care of him. Our court date is in early January, 2010, and I do not think she is going to miraculously change/grow up/get off drugs in the next three months. I have become so very attached to the little bugger ... so needless to say it would kill me to lose him, especially to someone I know cannot handle him. He was born with some problems and is currently in a brace until his hip muscles are strong enough to prevent his legs from coming out of socket. He has severe colic and requires constant love and attention, with someone with patience, something she knows nothing about.

I absolutely LOVE digi-scrapping. I began paper scrapping about four or five years ago, and was obsessed. I discovered digi-scrapping and was instantly addicted ... no mess, easy fixing of mistakes, can start all over with ease, relatively inexpensive, can get any element/design, etc. that would complete a layout in a matter of seconds, etc. etc. etc. And the best thing about it ... I can scrap while holding the baby!
