I took these photos in Africa way in 1995 and long to go back for another wonderful safari. These photos were taken in Kenya and Tanzania so maybe I should think about Botswana or South Africa or Namibia.....© ©Laurie B Weatbrook

Many years ago, I bought my dad hundreds of spring bulbs with explicit directions that he was not to plant them as I would plant them when I next visited him. When I got down to see him, he was in a less than good mood and just glaring at me as I walked in the door. Well, he didn't want me to 'waste' my visit with him planting bulbs so he planted all of them and, of course, was very sore! This is dedicated to his memory...© 2010 Laurie B Weatbrook

The photo here was originally sent to Dad by Mom during WWII. Somewhere along the line the photo was bent in half which created a crease down the middle. I repaired the crease and touched up other bits of wear to create this beautiful picture of Mom. This is my first piece of work using digital scrapbooking and I dedicate it to my Mom who inspired all my creative outlets.© 2010 Laurie B Weatbrook
