Its Christmas Eve here and I think NZ is the first country awake to celebrate so Happy Christmas to you all and Have a wonderful day however you celebrate this day, as for us we celebrate the Lords birth so its extra special tomorrow.

It's time for the Holiday Scavenger Hunt!

2 Days ago I had a horrific incident with my little dog Luna she is 9 lbs she was poisoned by a tode and it was horrific to see she having seizures and drive with her screaming and jerking. She spent 2 days in the hospital and its coming home with still care to do she got pneumonia because of it.
I'm so thankful she is alive.

I'm leaving today to fly North to CT to help take care of my daughter who is having a hip replaced. Bonus I get to spend Christmas with my children and grandchildren.

Quick Note: Geminid meteor shower of 2023 peaks tonight. According to NASA the best time to view the Geminids meteor shower is to start looking for them around 9 p.m. local time.
Optimal viewing time will likely be at 2 a.m. on Thursday, weather permitting.Hope it was okay to post this.

I'm curious. How much time do you spend on a layout? On average. I think mine average 15-20 minutes max. And they show it LOL As my only "art" its either easy and I know what I want or its hard and I leave it simple. But I feel like maybe I'm not taking enough time to really create art (not looking for compliments, just thinking outloud). My layouts fit me. But I see the craft and art you all create and I wonder, how much time do you spend per layout?

Oh Lynne you so also describe so much of how I scrap! Perfectionist for sure, sometimes I will literally spend 15 minutes moving things a tiny bit this way, a tiny bit that way.... And again.. Until it's right. But, it's not a problem, I enjoy getting it "just right" -- for me. So it takes a while and I happily say I'm a slow scrapper because I DO enjoy it that way! @scrapgarden

Oh, I'm with you, Tracey - it takes me forever to create a layout! Occasionally I'll have one that will go in a snap and it's usually when I least expect it. My "First Visit to Santa" layout yesterday took me about 3-4 hours and it was pretty much straight sitting there. Sometimes like Amy, I'll work on one throughout a day or two and leave it there until it's finished. But, I am a notoriously slow scrapper and except that it gets me behind and it's not good for some SG games, I like it that way. I really enjoy the process and looking through my stash, so rushing is not pleasurable. But, truly a slowpoke here! 🐌 🤣

I just managed to upload 1 layout when my laptop conked, again...
Last time I lost a lot of stash. I was able to get it back from Angie. I was going to do backups today, but of course, I didn't. 🤔

6 week post-op appointment yesterday...no more sling, increase PT to 3 times a week and I can drive again. Just in time Granddaughter arrives tomorrow of a week of adventures with us.
