  1. Quick question. My dh has been trying to covert me to a Mac but I’ve been resisting because I don’t know if all SG supplies will work. I have always had Windows with photoshop. Will this be a problem?

Love my MAC and would never go back! All your photoshop files will work on a MAC but PS and PSE have a slightly different interface. Also, with the keyboard, the Ctrl key is now the Cmd key, Alt key is now the Opt key, and Backspace key is now the Delete key. Minor differences but, as I said, I will never go back!

I wish I had your spirit Susie I spend 6K on a mac which I thought would be my dream machine but i never turn it on. I just can't used to is. So I suffer with my 32 bit pc. I guess one day when this old work horse dies I'll have to no choice but to have a mac attack. They do say it's the best but it just takes some getting used to. One thing I will say is that if you use certain plugins some of them can't be run on a mac so you may have to repurchase the mac versions. in fact you will have to do that with the programs as well. I've never had problems using pc files or graphics on a mac but those mac files will not open on a pc. the ones with the _

I didn't have another computer to use! But the screen is so gorgeous, clear and HD large that I can't imagine working with anything less. I had to get a MAC version of Microsoft Word and Excel, and my accounting software, MYOB, but everything else pretty much worked! But then again, I changed back in about 2011 so I'm on my second MAC already!  Also, the color profile is more realistic. Whenever I look at my files on a PC, I notice there's a blue tinge to everything—quite a different color to what prints out. Greens look brown etc. Food for thought!

I totally agree the mac viewing experience is extraordinary. if i had no option i'm sure i'd make it work. and i mean really how hard can it be?
