Hi,

My name is Cheryl and was born and raised in IL. I am 49 yrs. old and I am the mother of four children, ages 29, 27, 23, and 5. I have been married for 30 yrs. Our 31st. wedding anniversary is tomorrow (12-15-2010), on our 25th anniversary we signed papers to adopt a baby girl from China, and 26 months later, my husband, my son and I, flew to China to pick up "Our Chosen Child"

she has changed my life forever. Her favorite person is our 23 yr. old son, Adam, (he went to China with us), she calls him "my Adam" or "my buddy," not sure she realizes that he is her brother. All I know is, that he belongs to her and her alone.... I am not sure how they know which baby to give to what family, but she is just like our 29 yr. old, very talkative, and smart, she reminds me so much of him.

I have been scrapbooking for many years, and I have been digital scrapbooking for the last 4 years. After we adopted, I got a profession camera, so from Feb 2006, to the present day, I have taken over 36,000 pictures and have them all downloaded on my desktop computer..(they are all backed-up), most of them are of Ms. Hannah, what can I say, "I love her" and she is so beautiful. I don't want to miss a moment of her life. I am a stay at home mom and always have been, when Ms. Hannah started kindergarten this year, that was very hard for me to let her go, but she loves it, and now that I have adjusted to it, I love my "me" time. She only goes 1/2 day, which works out perfect for me.

We live in a small town, on 7.3 acres. I love living in the country, I never get bored, there is always something to do, mostly I play with pictures and scrapbook, I love the Christmas season, decorating our home, all the baking, and entertaining friends. Most important - We don't forget the true meaning of Christmas in our home, which is Jesus Christ, and what He has done for

us.
