  1. Any bullet journalers out there? trying this for 2018. I like the idea of making the pages as I go.

I use a Filofax for planning, and love that it keeps my lists all in one place so I don't lose them. The bullet journaling concept is really cool, I just don't want to spend the time making all the boxes for my pages. I'm sure it gets fast once you get a system. The class I took suggested that when you make mistakes, you just glue two pages together and move on. I'm a little too OCD for that. That is why I'm a ring binder girl. ;)

I read this thread last night, then had to look up "bullet journaling" - hadn't heard of it before.  After reading about it, I did order some very simple notebooks to try it out.  I've essentially been doing bullet journaling for a while already, at work; I've got a lined journal I bought at a bookstore, where I just have different pages of information - one a list of pager numbers for the surgeons I work with, one a list of passwords (sssssshhhhh... I can't keep track otherwise), my on-going to-do list, a list of cases that would make good teaching cases, etc.  I do like the freedom of it, makes sense to try using it in my home life, too.  And it could help with scrapping.

i'm a little OCD too, April. We'll see how this goes. I like the idea of using an index in front, and i'm going to keep my lists/collections in the back. what do I have to lose to try it.
