anyone else having a Groundhog Day party tomorrow? GHD is one of my favorite days, among other reasons, because my dad worked outside on the phone lines when I was a kid. he got so excited about GHD and the possibility of a sooner spring. that sticks w/me today. Having friends over tomorrow night just for fun.

Any bullet journalers out there? trying this for 2018. I like the idea of making the pages as I go.

I use a Filofax for planning, and love that it keeps my lists all in one place so I don't lose them. The bullet journaling concept is really cool, I just don't want to spend the time making all the boxes for my pages. I'm sure it gets fast once you get a system. The class I took suggested that when you make mistakes, you just glue two pages together and move on. I'm a little too OCD for that. That is why I'm a ring binder girl.

I read this thread last night, then had to look up "bullet journaling" - hadn't heard of it before. After reading about it, I did order some very simple notebooks to try it out. I've essentially been doing bullet journaling for a while already, at work; I've got a lined journal I bought at a bookstore, where I just have different pages of information - one a list of pager numbers for the surgeons I work with, one a list of passwords (sssssshhhhh... I can't keep track otherwise), my on-going to-do list, a list of cases that would make good teaching cases, etc. I do like the freedom of it, makes sense to try using it in my home life, too. And it could help with scrapping.

i'm a little OCD too, April. We'll see how this goes. I like the idea of using an index in front, and i'm going to keep my lists/collections in the back. what do I have to lose to try it.

Marilyn, sadly I have to say I see why people love Mac. There is just something solid and satisfying about it. I also know (from experience) why people love Windows. I see the good in both. The printer & connectivity thing are the tipping points for me. I'm trying to sell my Mac but secretly maybe no one will buy it and I can straddle both worlds! (if ex-DH knew I bought another laptop, LOL!)

in the past 2 days, I've managed to lose my glasses, my keys, and tonight I left my Bible & a couple books at Barnes & Noble. oops. on a good note, I bought myself a Windows laptop tonight. came home, within 5 minutes had connected to my network and printer and was immediately able to print. I really hope this solves my issues and I will be selling my Mac. whew.

took the T to town today and somewhere between there and here, i managed to lose my keys. hopefully they fell out of my pocket on the T and someone turns them in. they are on significantly marked lanyard. sheesh.

definitely got some extemporaneous animal activity going on here. on the [flat] rooftop, i think. hope they stay far away. radar agrees. he is contemplating hiding under the bed for the duration of the evening.

I've vented here plenty about technology and printing woes in the past. It's totally ruined my enjoyment of digital stuff. I am trying a range extender and maybe a USB printer connection if necessary. Crossing my fingers!

i have a pseudo-interview tomorrow (with an agency that i've worked for in the past but need to update info). i've about torn my place apart looking for that 2nd form of ID. please pray i come up with something!

i don't get trick or treaters but my Nepali neighbor kids wanted to come by and show off their costumes. all i had to offer them was apples LOL! guess i am "that" lady!

I have been awake since, oh 3am, and going since about 4:30am so I missed all the DSD fun. Going to peruse the gallery before I hit a wall.

8:17 and i've already had a bath (super sore from kettle bell workout the other day when the barre instructor didn't show up ) and am seriously considering an early bedtime tonight. i'll take a do-over tomorrow please!

Very cool tutorial today by Anna Mansfield on recoloring SS templates. I had to play with it right away and it could be addicting!

Seems like my printer may be done for. I accidentally ran something with a staple through the ADF and now everything's missing a line when I copy or print.

i may or may not have just discovered the mixer brush function of Photoshop.

Well, thanks to that fickle gal Irma, we're not attempting the beach this week. Taking my mom to Bedford Springs Resort instead.

The fun continues. Moved my aunt two weeks ago (what a blessing, albeit a draining process getting it all together). My mom closes on the sale of her house tomorrow but her new place won't be ready for 3 weeks. She was going to stay with friends but after one night called and asked if she could come here after all (no surprise, my little apt w/40 steps was last on her list!) Talk about being motivated to clean LOL. Hotel P is now open on short notice!

Had to ship my work laptop back to CO for some work so I'm out of work M-T. Taking Monday off (yippee) to catch up on some things; helping clean my mom's house Tuesday b4 the walk-through on Weds.

Oh, dear I remember when you had trouble before, sorry Dianne, that's so frustrating...
You wouldn't believe how long it took me to do that hybrid collage thingy! Who makes you change paper size in 2 different locations? And "filter failed" and "communications error" messages. But I keep coming back for more LOL!
