    My dog spent HOURS in the closet today. Literally! Poor baby!

      She has one, but she wore it outside and rolled around and got mud on it. Since it wasn't raining, I took it off her. of course, a few minutes later we got some rain and thunder and lots of winds.

    I'm pretty obsessed with our first dog, a rescue, named Raven. We've had her a little over two months now so expect lots of puppy layouts! :)

      they think she is almost 2 now (they estimated her birthday at 3/27/12) so I guess she's techinically not a puppy but she's a pup to me!

    Spent the day out in the sun while Hubster fished. Slight breeze and a high temp in the low 80's. Wish August was always like this.

      last year there were more than 20 days over 100 and we had a terrible drought condition. This year is relatively mild. Love it

    hubby got my lappy working! I am so glad to be back! I've already got photoshop open. Oh, time to do a challenge! Hope the lappy stays "fixed"

    My mom is stranded 90 mi away on a busy highway. Prayers that my hubby can fix her car & they get home safe are appreciated! She was on her way for a wk long visit & didn't bring her cell phone. She managed to flag someone down to call.

    I don't usually participate in the forums, just read and learn, but I am really excited about the 8 12 x 11 Life Books. I just read the email -Note from Ro -and can't quit thinking about it. It's like she pulled all the nagging questions I have had and given me answers. I am giving this some serious consideration.

      the only iffy thing that I wonder about is the books. All you can get are plain boring binders? I like pretty albums. I know you could make a layout and slip it in the front, but still

    Donated group 3 of baby hats. Never will again. The nurse did not even LOOK at the hats. They could care less. She did say thank you and smiled but that was about it. Took all of 5 seconds and then she was like "on to the next, eh?" whatever that means. Killed my christmas spirit.

      I ended up with 28 hats for baby hat group #3 this time so they have gotten over 100 hats from me and I've never gotten a thank you note and I only donated 13 cancer hats. It's not like that's why I do the charity knitting, but still.. I at least want to feel like they're needed/appreciated

      Hubby says I should focus on chemo hats because they LOVED them at the cancer center when I donated them once. Plus sent a hand written thank you note!

    I am upset. Got my prints back. I forgot to order the INTRO PAGE. I don't want to place an order for ONE PAGE, plus if I put the intro page in, I will be one page short in this album PLUS there is lots of white space around the photos in the album even though the album is supposed to be 8x8 and the photos are too. GAH

      i just looked and all these are my own fault. the album is saying it's 8.5x 8.5. what the heck. so weird. Perhaps I can get a print at walmart of something. 3$ is better than 6. Oh and I also forgot to account for the fact that the album has a "window" on the front so I need something for that. I am so ditsy, it seems

      oh and the shipping is a flat 5$ so it would cost me over 6 bucks to fix this not counting the cost of page refills and paper to mat the other photos

      i can mat the photos on paper but the intro page thing is annoying. I can buy more pages, but I'm basically buying a page refill for one page.. then placing an order just to print one 8x8!

    Milestone for me! Managed to shop for my new niece without 1: getting emotional or 2: thinking about miscarriage.

      last week I had an epiphany. It was as if God turned a light on in my brain. I am now able to look at babies and not automatically thing about how I want that or it should be me or about what happened. I hope that sticks around. I just make sure to keep telling myself "let go of it and push it away" and it's been great. I bought two tiny newborn outfits as my niece LOST weight and is now under 6 pounds and under 18 in long.
