Difficult times for sure! Adding my "stay safe everyone" also.

Who would guess we would be in this spot again. Stay safe everyone!

Our state has had that highest infection rates and for some reason it has not encouraged many to be vaccinated. Lots of "if only we had gotten vaccinated" stories on the news. I am mystified!

Reading of your reaction makes me more hesitant as right from the start I do not really want to get the vaccine because of how I react to the flu vaccine each year which I am required to have if I want to work in Aged Care.  I hope you are now feeling back to normal. 

Oh I am so sorry you had that reaction. Still better than getting the real thing I guess. I had slight reaction to the Mederna shot but well worth the peace of mind we will have while traveling this summer.

Please don't be put off because I had a reaction, I was ok the following day, I was advised that I could feel under weather for 24 hours. Just glad that I did get the vaccine, next one due in June.

This year is all a bit odd isn't it? Bristol where I live has been put in Tier 3 (highest tier) when we come out of lockdown 2nd Dec, which means no mixing indoors with other households and no private gatherings in gardens either. I hope people are going to manage this over the festive period. Restaurants, pubs, cafe's all remain closed apart from takeaways and home delivery... Christmas and my birthday is going to be a bit different this year.... a nice break from work is what I'm looking forward the most... and chill out for a while 

I agree it's going to be harder to celebrate holidays (and your birthday) this year. Let's hope next year will be back to a more normal life for us all. Just stay safe and healthy!

Oh this sounds miserable. I've had issued off and on after gallbladder surgery, but never have actually gotten a diagnosis. I find smaller meals helps and finding out through trial and error what is a trigger. Wishing you a full recovery - hang in there.

So glad you’re up and working Marie, but wow, that’s some story!   I am remembering last year when I was stuck up with my foot surgery and no laptop - for sure not fun!  

I hope it keeps working.  My laptop is pretty old at this point, and I'm a little afraid of something happening to it.  Everything is backed up, but still...

That sounds pretty good and an easy fix.

Are you sure it is the power supply? If so, there could be something with the board that caused the problem. Advice is from Bob, the computer guru. :-)

I can't resist going out in the snow, hiking that is. Love getting dressed up in wintry gear and head out,it has snowed a lot more last night and today, making walking a lot harder. it was so nice to see families out enjoying the unusual but harsh conditions.

May your 2018 be a good year with lots of happy memories created.
