Yeah. We finally finished painting the house, it looks great. Mark my words I will never paint it again. I'm sore in places I didn't know I had. 70 is too old to be climbing a ladder!!!!

I'm getting so many notes..the fire at the Seaport Mariana in Mystic was not where we kept our boat but next up the river. So devastating.

Wow the gallery has been flooded many individual members lately. I thought there was limit to how many could be posted at once.

I totally agree with all of you. Angie was made aware of this sometime ago and she did ask Designers to pass on the message to their teams. 99% of other digi sites do not have any gallery layouts showing when you go to the forum so with those you need to go to the gallery to see what is new. But our gallery here is set up different so you cannot see what is new straight away.

I'm an enthusiast --these ranks are pretty fun...just sayin!

Oh, I wondered how everyone replied with it still down in the Forum but I see now how! That is some amazing trip Debby and the numbers are mind-boggling. For sure the USA is gorgeous in so many different places, so many different ways and you did so much of it. Thanks for sharing with us, I'm enjoying riding along.

We are so lucky we have no damage at our Florida home. I feel so bad for all the people who were affected. There is so much devastation. Thank you for all kind comments

@mimes1 That's good to hear. We've actually had a lot of rain and strong winds yesterday and now today which my (amateur) weatherperson sister tells me is from Ian! She showed me the radar about how it's heading east again, it was over PA last night so we're getting it in it's travels. I'm glad you all were ok!

Getting nervous, not sure if we will have a home when we get back to Florida. We are just north of Tampa and only 1/2 mile inland. Starting our return trip from CT to FL on Friday. Good luck to everyone in Ians path.

When I heard about the storm, Debby, you are the first person I thought of, wondering where your home was situated. I am so sorry to hear that it is in harms way! We stayed with friends in Punta Gorda when we travelled to the USA in 2007, driving across the country in our RV. They took us over to Cayo Costa in their boat. We spent a lot of time in that part of Florida so I know it well. I really hope that your home escaped serious damage. It is a very worrying time.

3 months on the road, 9000 miles so far. We will be in CT in 2 days to be with family & friends for Sept. This country is very beautiful.

First rainy day since we left in May!!! Defrosted the freezer in the camper and a few cleaning projects...not organize some of my SG stuff.
