CWX_BlueBayou, EBA_Calypso It was a long time ago when we were there but if I remember correctly this peacock was glass. Ludwig already knew the area around Linderhof from his youth when he had accompanied his father King Maximilian II of Bavaria on his hunting trips in the Bavarian Alps. When Ludwig II became King in 1864, he inherited a hunting lodge, the so-called Königshäuschen ("King's little house") from his father, and in 1869 began enlarging the building. In 1874, he decided to tear down the Königshäuschen and rebuild it in its present-day location in the park. The tapestry room the walls were painted to look like tapestry. It was early when we arrived to take a tour we were sitting on a bench near the fancy pools when all of a sudden there was lots of noise and the fountain started up. It goes almost 85 feet. The tour was amazing.

CTH_Two-page spreads, TMD_lifenotes Photos by me Journaling reads I walked in the morning then had early lunch so I could go to the club to set up for the rummage sale. I spent 2 hours at the club helping get the stuff on the tables. Reed called so it was so nice to talk to my youngest grandson. Michelle came over to bring me some moncarch babies so now the fun begins. Monday I went grocery shopping then came back to make mustard coleslaw for dinner at the club. Jay made smoked a pork roast then pulled it for sandwiches we made a pasta salad our dinner sold out in 45 minutes. We got some bear spray to take on our summer trip out west.I went to get my teeth cleaned then I worked in the yard. I finished up some planting on wednesday, Jay went to lunch with the guys. We sat in the Florida room looking at the pond with the lights sparkling and the frogs singing when we went to bed it was so nice to sleep with the bedroom slider open. I went to club to help set up for the rummage sale this time we priced everything, I hope this makes some money for the club. We went to Frankies for blue crabs with Roy and Maddie, they never had them before so we had a good time eating, sipping wine and laughing. I went to Sam’s Club to get hot dogs/ rolls for Jay to cook during the rummage sale to make a few extra dollars for the club.I went to Michelle's got get some large leaf milkweed cuttings. She gave me a succulent that I did not have so I planted them in the new flower pots I just got. Friday I wore my red shirt...Remember Everyone Deployed!!!!! I worked at the club rummage sale all day Saturday then we over to Tony Nancy’s for pizza party. The DeBisschops were there along with Karyn & Rich. We brought some smoked ribs that we made, they were very delicious. it was good to see Carol & Jimmy and It was a fun evening with friends. I got a great call from Kirsten while she was shopping, she is so excited to go to the concert in Sept so cannot stop talking about it. The baby woodstork is growing so loosing his fluffy head feathers. I made a necklace with sead beads from a head piece I had...it came out pretty. We sold our little 17ft boat. I will really miss going out on the water but we were not using it much

PWR_MemoryLane,SDE_Intothewild, SDE_SunnyDay, TMD_Always Photos by me. Journaling reads- known around the state as the “Jewel of the Maine Coast”, and for good reason. It is a quaint town by the sea featuring a beautiful harbor that is always full and busy, especially during the summer months. the prettiest harbor in Maine, and you get nice panoramic views of the town and ocean from the top of a Mount Battie
