6,770 miles so far, 500+ gallons of diesel fuel, 60 days, 14 states, 27 different campsites, up mountains, across plains, by lakes, at farms, breweries, visits with friends and more adventures to come. Our Grand Adventure is amazing.

One month into Our Grand Adventure (trailer is a Grand Design) went 3,512 miles, used 225 gal of diesel, have been in 8 states, 14 different campground, went from home in Florida at 14 ft above sea level to the top of Pikes Peak 14,104 ft in Colorado, stepped in 4 states at once at 4 corners. 3 1/2 more months !!!

The gallery looks great. I have not been able to make many comments. We have been very busy seeing the sights on this trip. Most campgrounds do not have good internet or cell service so posting has been difficult or impossible. Have a great day everyone. We will be on the road soon off to Alamosa CO area.

We are in hot windy Oklahoma and go to even hotter Dodge City Kansas tomorrow. I wish I had time to make a few pages. I have been posting pics on FB.

We are in Arkansas now for a few days...I am loving this new trailer and our new adventure....but still miss boat life. Good service has been spotty so it's been hard to keep up here.

Almost ready! Tomorrow is the big day...we leave for our summer camping trip out west. I will try to keep up but may not have allot of spare time or internet.

Our daughter is in Hawaii for another week and 1/2....Yikes with the earthquake I am a worried Mom! She said they are fine and still having a great time.

I need to get a book printed does anyone know who has any specials now? I'm the photographer for our best friends 60th Anniversary party so will use the pics to get book printed as a gift..

Daughter in law and youngest grandson came to Florida for a visit and surprise, surprise our son came down too. This Mom/Grammy was so surprise and happy. I will enjoy them for a few days.

We are back from a week of camping with little or no internet...it was great fun but now it is get everything in order so we can leave for 4+ months end of May.

Tomorrow I start PT for my hip again!!! I have a problem with a muscle so I'm on a steroids and another month of therapy. Hopefully I will be able to walk normal after this.

I had an awesome flight from Florida to Connecticut yesterday. So excited to spend this holiday with my grandchildren and kids but will miss my husband who stayed home.

This morning I had my first of three injections into both knees. Hyaluronic acid should be helpful to lubricate the joint to make my hip recovery progress. This getting old is not easy !!!

My continuing saga. Hip is improving but my knees have been hurting...2 cortisone injections yesterday....next will be hyaluronic acid from rooster cartilage to relieve the knee joint pain. in a few years 2 knee replacements...

I have graduated after 22 sessions from Physical Therapy after my hip replacement. So happy not to go for that 1/2 hour drive. Now on with my life!!!

Well I got my new hip. First few days were no fun and the therapy the day after set my leg on fire but it will get better.I may try to scrap some today

Whoot Whoot our new camper is here and they are doing the upgrades so we will pick it up on Aug 4 . Last year we picked up our other one on Aug 27...two new campers in a year...Yikes..All because of an accident on May 13.

We are back home. During June we visited and said hello to over 70 family and friends in CT. Happy me.

Our new 2022 camper will arrive in Tampa and be ready for us middle of August so I will have lots of incentive to get well after my hip replacement. Insurance is replacing thecamper all we have to pay is our $500 deductible!!

We finally got word that they are going to replace our camper completely. The insurance company is making arrangements to replace it as it was with all the upgrades we did. Over a month but what a relief.

It official they have "totaled" our camper nearly a month after we were hit. We will go shopping again for the same one I just hope we can find a 2021 and don't have to get the 2022.

No news about our camper still waiting for insurance. We leave today to try to salvage our vacation. We have an Airbnb for the month of June. Going to see our family soon. so I'm doing the happy dance.

It is with great sadness to say "we are back home in Florida"
So no 9 week trip this year!!!.
Our travel trailer was hit and un-towable maybe even totaled. All involved are unhurt and our new truck is fine. We spent 5 hours yesterday unloading it into a u-haul the 6 hours today driving back. It happened in Hardeeville SC . So sad.

We start our "glamping" trip North today. 9 week vacation from retirement...LOL I will have sporadic internet so hope to be able to keep up here.

It's official I will be getting a hip replacement on Aug. 11. We have to come back early from our summer travels so we will only be traveling for 9 weeks, I'm so sad but tired of this pain.
