I'm so excited because I will be meeting Andrea tomorrow. She is coming to visit us on the boat. I'm sure we will have a fun day.

Whew we are back at the dock early because storms are on their way...foggy ride but calm seas. I will be catching up soon. Gallery looks full of wonderful treasures.

We left Florida last Thursday with a loaded van. We stopped in Georgia to be tourists. Vistited Grandchildren in Ct, worked on boat for 3 days and traveled to our homeport in Mysitc CT . Phew...Now I have internet again so I can catch up, I missed everyone.

We leave in a little while for our trip North so my visits here will be sporatic. Friends gave us a nice going way party last night we will miss them but looking forward to seeing the kids and grandchildren. Off on another adventure.

Time is flying by...our youngest child is 45 today. He is a wonderful guy and I am so proud of him. I spent Mothers Day in the hospital in Germany so all my Mothers Days have extra meaning,too!!!

We are back from our mini-cruise. Cuba was AMAZING. If you have a chance to go I highly recommend it before it gets to commercialized.

We are leaving for a mini 5 day cruise so I will be off the grid. Have a great week everyone.

All the party supplies are ready for our party today except the ice. The "Fifth Day of Spring" party. Any excuse to have a gathering. Expecting about 30 friends over so this will be fun. More pics to scrap.

Injections in my hand are done...very painful. Wrapped up to keep swelling down but it is swollen and black & blue. Now I dread friday when the straighten it out and do therapy...ouch.

I talked to our son aka Humpty Dumpty this morning, they put him back together again.. He sat up and ate for the first time since Sunday morning. His surgery was over about 1 this morning. They had him up and walking with a walker but after about 4 feet he got rid of it and walked. He should make a great recovery. Thank you all for the support.

Our son was badly injured in was in a snowmobile accident in Canada on sunday. His friend brought him home ---12 hour drive- but he is in massive back pain!!!! He was transferred to Hartford Hospital in CT. They will put rods and screws in his back as soon as they can(tomorrow)
He is not paralyzed and should be fine. But I am beside myself with worry. I will be going back to CT as soon as DIL needs me....it's the mother thing!
Please send healing thoughts our way.

So excited ---the two oldest grandchildren are flying down for a week in the sun with us. Then on friday night our DIL and other grandson are coming down for the weekend...Happy Grammy here I will see all my grandchildren. I will not be around the site much.

Off on another adventure...Yippe! Tomorrow we leave to go to Ft. Myers and then Sarasota for a few days. I may be late with things but will try to keep up every morning and night when we are at the hotel.

I got back this morning to warm Florida for the New Year!! Hubby planned a New Years Eve party...yikes it never stops. Just a few people, grilling and champagne so not too bad.

My crooked curling pinky is Dupuytren's disease, the treatment is very expensive injections of Xiaflex. Anyone have any experience with that or the disease? TIA

I would also try alternative treatments first, just to see if it works. I hadn't heard of this condition until now, sounds really painful.
I have a fused knuckle in my 4th finger of my right hand which needs a number of operations in my hand and in my wrist, followed by plastercast and several weeks of recovery. Marie said 'no' happy with my fused finger, I'm not in any pain. it's quite funny because I can't bend it and if I curl all my fingers into my fist that finger stays straight, do you get the picture :D seriously.

Well I hoped the day would never come but we have a young alligator in the pond. Waiting for them to come catch it to move it, kids and animals here. According to the originals around the pond it's been 10 years since one have been here.

There is one duck missing that we know about but he was a little handicapped so I'm not surprised.If not the gator it would be the eagles once they had young to feed.
