Instead of finding an image (I couldn't) that would work, I decided to use the color and create word art. I used snu_ayo jeweled flora flourish and AFT Paper Reinvent LOM-1

I enjoyed this challenge. It took me a while to find the sense of what I wanted and then the products to make it work, but I also used things I'd not paid close attention to. I used: BMU's City Park Charm adding a back ground and type, Zoomba Ribbon that I used a hue filter on and Embossed paper 6 to which I clipped a copy of the photo. EBA Rose Gold Crystalline paper for the bg. DRB Girl Power for the striped paper. SBA Breathtaking frame that I reduced the transparency on. -

This was a fun challenge. I was looking for just the right clip and couldn't find it...that means a trip to the SG store, but I did see a lot of embellies I'd forgotten about, so it was a treasure hunt. I used SG A Narrative Paper and SRO Aged scotch tape to hold the picture down. The other tape was on the paper. -

This is for the Circles Challenge Week Four Tuesday Newsletter. I did one of Mom last week with circles, for the Mom challenge and decided to mimic it...sort of. I used BMU's Embossed Paper and EMA Zentangle brushes. The gold style is from SNU gold foil pack. The gradient overlays I altered to give me the color I want. Now to learn how to fix Dad's photo.

Thank you. Mom is a very special person. She and Dad adopted my brother and I. She called us the chosen ones. My favorite saying was "Lessie Do It" and both my parents nurtured that in me. At 95 she's slowing down a bit, but when I see the twinkle in her eye, I grin, and later I tear up.

Wings of Love. If you read the text on the page, you'll see why. I also decided I was going to try only using one collection and used GBE's Wings of Time. Mom turned 95 May 5th. This picture was taken a few years ago. Love you, mom.

Aunt June or JuneMa, her daughter Jackie and Jackie's daughter Nina, all holding newborn Graham. There is so much more I wanted to do to this, but lacked the skills and time. Using photo masks still feels uncomfortable to me, though I mask all the time. Maybe because it does what it's supposed to do and remove part of the image :) I used DRB's Don't Be Blue, ASO's Seaglass masks, and Floriju's mask and I can't find it right now, but I will and post it. -

The challenge was using at least 4 layers, and then embellies as a treat to the page. I was going to use a lot of pictures, as I have a ton from the week, but decided to focus on one with a little one for detail. I used: SNU's Follow Your Bliss, Spring Collection, MRE's Star Brush, Exuberance, Zoomba paper, Zoomba stars, Shabby Chic, Jubilant, Bright Canyon, Life is Sweet. I'll edit this with the designer names as soon as I can find the rest of them.

Thank you and yes, it's straight from our hearts. I get a bit weepy when I do these as mom is struggling a bit. But she has my brother to help her (he's the angel of the family) and I know she's in her home and in good hands. L
