  1. This was another work-ahead layout for the Welcome Committee. This one was intended for iNSD on May 4 and the topic was to "Let The Designers Do The Work" by using detailed papers, clusters and other works highly prepared by designers. The challenge was to use only 5 items, including photos and text.

This is adorable.  I love the polka dots and how you matted each photo differently. The embellishments with each photo work so nicely.  This is a great idea to use for multiple photos that are almost the same.  We babysit my 1-year-old great nephew and have a dozen of these photos. I am gonna snatch this idea.

I did the same layout for this little one's brother and just inserted new papers into the stacks and changed the embellies. So easy.

Too cute for words! :) I think this is such a cool idea to show baby at each month with the tiny wreath. The photos are adorable and it's a lot of fun to see her personality and how she's growing. (Not to mention her wardrobe, lol ). I love your whimsical title work and how well the background graph paper goes with everything.

It's funny you mention her wardrobe. I think baby girls are rarely in pastels these days and baby boys are in neutrals. Gone are the baby blues and powder pinks, and I don't think most baby scrapping kits have caught up with that trend.

  4. Great pics and sentiment. That is so funny! I had one occasion where the dog really did eat my work - right off my desk. So fun and I am sure some day Max will look back at these and laugh as well.

  5. I really like the way you pulled together the photo of Michelle. The fade out between and the different framing makes it really interesting. I almost never play with images in this way, and this inspires me! Love the verdant background as well. Such a play off those green boots! Her smile is fab!

  6. Great photo and you put together the embellishment with the sun eclipsed so well. Very clever! Putting the journaling inside the cloud is perfect. Love the page.

I had worked ahead and prepared this LO for a May Newsletter Challenge for the Creative Team, but thought I would post it here before the Forum closes up. The challenge was supposed to be "place text on a photo." It was the first time I used ProCreate for a scrapbook challenge with my new Apple pencil. I am still learning, but it was a fun LO for me.

I just love your recipe pages and stories, they are so beautiful and the stories so very interesting - such family history.    Your photo coming down the page really shows what this looks like and I like the embellishments you used.  The fleur de lei (oh gosh I don't know how to spell it and autocorrect for once isn't helping) and the colors you used are perfect for this page.    I sure am going to miss seeing these beauties.

Thanks, Marilyn! For the most part, I think I am retiring from creating new cookbook pages. I have more than 600 of them stacked up waiting for various branches of the family. From here on out, I pretty much will only post new pages when I have a challenge and one of the recipes will be perfect for it! Now, I just pull together pages from the big stash and customize a book for family members. This year I have a nephew getting married, so I will need to work one up for him and his bride.

  7. I am really enjoying the consistency of your pages, but with different colors and patterns. You are keeping the basic layouts, titles and use of tags similar, but changing it up in subtle ways. What a cutie you were! And look at that long hair!

  8. That is a beautiful home, and it is clear how much you loved it. The way you layered up the filigree sticker with the frame corner and the patterned mask is really lovely. I haven't seen that done before in that manner. It really matches the architecture of your home so well. Gorgeous layout, Debby!

  9. No wonder you do so well at camping and traveling - you've been doing it always! I like the map that shows where you've been! This is a net page, done like a travel book. The way you catalog the different types of travel is really, really cool. I don't think I have seen anything quite like it!

  10. You are such inspiration for how to do retirement right! It is wonderful how much you travel and socialize. I really like your approach on this layout as well. The tabs with the months and that neat alpha make this page really draw you in even without a photo.
