We got dumped on for sure! My hubby's been shovelling like crazy. We moved to an apartment to get away from that, lol. But it's part of his job. I hope it wasn't not too bad for you!

Super cold here today - one degree F right now.  I think we're all a little house-crazy right now, since it's too cold to even go out for a walk!  We watched movies and bounced around the house like ping pong balls all day.

      MariJ

Ah,,, Mikelle, that's crazy, especially when it's unusually warm other places.   Sorry about that, but have to admit, your words made me giggle!   :giggle_bear:

My husband took me to Costco and I bought a laptop so I can take it with me when we go on a long trip and then I can make LOs while he drives  :)  I had no idea what I wanted, but a nice man explained the different laptops to me and the sale saved me alot. My husband won't wear a mask so he couldn't go into the store with me. Now I got to figure out how to load it.

My boys and their friends have been going out for the last few years.  This year they all drag their girlfriends along (so they took the "dad van")  They didn't really come back with much, they had already done most of their shopping online since there had been deals going on all month

    4. alsoarty

Te shops here in Maine still have tons of stuff left over. I never do Black Friday shopping.

Neither. DH has worked the Dallas Cowboy halftime show for 20+ years. I've had to work on some of them except last year and this year. For about the last 3-4 years our DDs travel since they are both off for the week. They usually go on a cruise but since covid they've rented a cabin in Oklahoma. My family is gone and DH's family isn't nearby so I will be preparing a small meal for myself. Our oven is broken so I'm going to try cooking a turkey breast in a crock pot and my dressing in a instant pot. I'll cook my sweet potato casserole in the crock pot the day before and reheat it.

Going to family's house.  We didn't do this last year (they didn't have it), but two years ago it was a huge affair!  Tons of food.

We go to my brother's house, about 30 minutes away. There will be 10-12 of us.  Looking forward to it!

I sent Christmas hampers to each of my siblings, which they have already received, because I wanted to make sure they arrived in case of postage delays! However, I haven't done much of anything else yet. My grandchildren will have to get surprises because they have no idea what they want! Chloe made an announcement that she doesn't want any more toys! So there!

If I make it, it is boxed.  Stuffing is not something I grew up with so there is no family recipe.
