Not bragging or anything, but I'm into May of 2017 for my Project Life pages. At least I'm still working on them.

Impromptu swim and dinner party with Grace's family last night, and a garden party in the garden tonight for a group of ladies from church. Add to that -Thomas lost his passport and has a ticket to Amsterdam on Monday...spendy for him to get a replacement that quickly, but he should have it on Saturday. And I thought August would be better than July. ?
-
Thomas is engaged! He dropped by last night to show us the ring (and to call her father) before he asked her.

I just updated the tutorial on uploading layouts to the gallery. http://scrapgirls.net/forum/topic/60589-how-to-upload-a-layout-to-the-gallery/
Ignore the fact that I didn't grab the right layouts when I did the screenshots.

Who is ready for the May Challenge Chase?
-
I'm off to the hospital. Hopefully the new grandbaby will be here soon.
-
It isn't too late to join the Challenge Chase! I just got the tracker posted, but you can join late and make-up last week's layout! Be sure to post links to your layouts in the thread so I know you've completed them.

Not feeling so great today, but I'll get the weekly winners posted tomorrow!

A little bit heart sick. When you see your dad's shop on the news... all burnt out.

that is so sad, that fire just kept going- as well as the other fires, it has been devastating to so many. May your relatives be able to recover and have the energy to do it. Can't believe the difference in the pictures! holy cow! That is so amazing that the firefighters saved your brother's house, bless every one of them for all their hard work!

My family's house made it through the night! They let the water company employees in, and they said there is a firetruck in every driveway up there. Now I can stop worrying and get on with the things I need to get done today.

The canyon I grew up in, where much of my family still lives was where they were staging their big stand to keep it from going into the more populated areas. One structure was lost, but according to the owner, it was just a place to go and enjoy the view. Not their real home and very replaceable for them. The family properties are well within the fire perimeter's burned areas, so it is now moving away from them. The hills will be charred and black and ashy when I go home for Christmas, but it will be just like when I was a kid - except there will be a house. :-)
-
That fire made way too much progress overnight. It burned one home on my nephew's road this morning. The fire expanded on the back side and is quite close the my dad and brother's homes.
-
And now my dad's house is in the voluntary evacuation zone. I'm heading there for Christmas, so I really hope there is a home to go home to.
-
Praying my nephew's house doesn't burn down tonight. The Thomas fire is headed right toward them. They've evacuated, of course.
