Wow, what a fantastic set of photos! I like how you've arranged them and the alpha is a great touch. Perfect layout for the challenge.

You sure visited a lot of places over the summer. I love the quote and how you did your title. Fabulous page.

I love how you used the map on this page. I like all the little grungy bits you added as well. Lovely page.

Lovely page. The beach is one of my favorite places to be. I like the photo arrangement with the stapes and especially like how you blended a photo with the background.

This is so beautiful and I like that a sister is named Marilyn, I rarely meet one other than myself! 😊 Your photo is precious, they both look so sweet. I really like your soft background and pretty cluster and the elegant doily behind the pic. The heart adds the perfect touch.
Bob's mom and aunt both share the name, though his aunt is spelled Marylyn. I have a few other friends with the name too.

Here is the journaling: My grandmother’s aunt, Ella, had breast cancer in her 30’s. As my mother told the story, her mother happened to walk in while she was bathing and said, “Ella! What happened to your breasts?” She had gone through a double mastectomy alone and without any support from her family. My grandmother died of ovarian cancer when she was 41. Because of her family history, my mother chose to do the BRCA gene testing soon after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She did it for us, her daughters and granddaughters. Her testing was negative, so while we still need regular examinations, we are happy to know we don’t have a BRCA gene mutation.

That photo is amazing and so special, but it's so sad not to have names and know who people are. My Mom once framed a collage of old photos that she had no idea who the people were, but the photos were so interesting! I like your framing and soft background and how it looks like this is tied up like a present. That photo, though is so amazing - I'd love to see a current shot in the same place in Santa Barbara - a world of a difference for sure!
Thanks! If I dug a little deeper, I could possibly figure out who she is by the initials. I just didn't have time to dig into my great-great grandmother's papers and photo albums.

Wow what an awesome photo to have. Too bad there are not names or other useful information. What is that thing she is standing near? I have never seen anything like it.
It is a Victorian drinking fountain. It was placed on the sand, so it wasn't plumbed. Mrs. C.W.B.'s journaling, which is on the paper strip, reads "taking a drink of Eggnog on a November day 1898."

It is so hard to leave a place and all its memories, especially the way you needed to. It is nice to see that a new, young family is enjoying your old home. Your page is lovely and the plaid you chose accents your photo perfectly.

I really like the colors you used for this page, the lifted photos really add to your page, and the confetti is a great touch.

I'd love to visit that museum too. I really like how you stacked the photos and used the movie quotes. Lovely page!

I may have made about 10 plaid papers before I finally got what I wanted.

I love the feel of your page with its clean lines and simple embellishments. It makes me want to go for a walk on the beach. I really like your font choice as well.
