    Praying my nephew's house doesn't burn down tonight. The Thomas fire is headed right toward them. They've evacuated, of course.

      I will be away for a week during September.... off on a cruise to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. But I will have a look at what everyone is doing for this fun event, when I am home.

    And now my dad's house is in the voluntary evacuation zone. :huh: I'm heading there for Christmas, so I really hope there is a home to go home to.

      The fire is 7 miles away from my dad's. The forest service is up there now keeping a watch on things. They've lifted the mandatory evacuation for my nephew's house. My high school friend who is his neighbor said they've kept houses in that area safe. So, more good news.
