  1. November 1st Let's start the month with a color challenge using this autumn color swatch. You aren't required to use all the colors, but try to use several. Create a layout using this color swatch.
  2. Welcome to the return of... Hodge Podge November During the month we will have different prompts, tutorials, color palettes, quotes and other inspiration to help you create some layouts. Once we give you the inspiration for the day, you can create your layout. There will be no twists, tricks or added tasks. For most layouts you will get two days before we post the next inspiration. There won't be new posts on Sundays. Each completed layout is worth one entry in the prize draw. At the end of the month, we will do a random draw, and you could win one of five $5 Gift Certificates to use in the Scrap Girls Boutique. You are free to interpret each inspiration in any way you wish. Do not post your finished layout until we tell you to. However, there are no time limits (just the end of the month). You do not have to complete every layout unless you wish to. You may combine inspirations; however, you can only receive one entry in the draw for each layout.

  11. Anniversary Party Bingo! We're starting the ScrapGirls Anniversary Party a little bit early with a Bingo game! Complete layouts to create a bingo and win prizes. We have Gift Certificates for everyone who completes a bingo as well as a prize draw at the end of the month. Each bingo also gets you an entry into a prize draw. You will find the Bingo card with layout prompts on it in the next post. Post your Bingo Layouts in the SG Anniversary Party 2023 Gallery. You can create a bingo in a number of ways; Complete a traditional bingo, like the top three images below, and you will win a $3 GC. This will also give you entry to a draw to win one $10 GC. Complete a non traditional bingo, like the middle row of examples, and win a $5 GC. This will also give you entry to a draw to win one $15 GC. Complete the whole board and you win a $10 GC. This will also give you entry to a draw to win one $20 GC. Tracking So we can track who has completed which layouts we will need you to post links to your layouts in just one post. This is how you do it: Reply to this thread with "I'm In!" As you complete a layout, edit the post you created in step one. Add your link to the post and make sure you include the prompt number you used. If you need help with this please ask. Rules You may use more then one prompt on your layout, HOWEVER each layout can only be used for one square on the bingo card (ie: you may combine squares, but you must choose which one you use as the main prompt). You only get to claim 1 bingo for the month, there’s not multiple rounds of bingo being played. So if you start out thinking your going to do a traditional bingo, and you get done early in the month you may choose to add in more prompts to get the Non Traditional Bingo. You have until 11:59 pm EDT on 31 October 2023 to complete your bingo. Any layouts for a bingo posted after this time will not be included in the prize draw.

  14. Saturday, September 30th Sadly, we’re at the end of our World Tour! Today we get to hang out with Marilyn! She can show us any cool places we’ve missed. Take some time to finish any layouts and leave some love on the other layouts in the gallery. Thanks so much for joining us!
  15. Wow, what a fantastic set of photos! I like how you've arranged them and the alpha is a great touch. Perfect layout for the challenge.
  16. Friday, September 29th Our 2023 world tour is almost over! We took a few photos with the LOVE statue while out walking in the city. Yes, that is me in the photo. Nicknamed the “Polar Bear Capital of the World,” Churchill is located in the Manitoba province on the Hudson Bay shore. Start a new layout with a predominantly white background.

  21. Today we're visiting Fredrikstad, Norway The star-shaped old town of Fredrikstad was founded in 1567 and is the best-preserved fortress town in Northern Europe. In well-preserved buildings and along cobbled streets you will find a blend of everyday life, art, history, quaint shops, museums, galleries, theatres and charming cafés. People have shopped here since 1640. The star-shaped defense walls around the town are perfect for picnics and strolls. Add a star to your layout
  22. The Challenge Chase Tracker is updated. As always, let me know if I've missed any of your layouts. Almost half of you are already done!
