  1. I love your page! Everything blends well, the colors, the wordart, the vintage style frames. It really says Country!
  2. Yes, it is therapeutic. I haven't shared this with my family; maybe someday... It was a challenge to see if I could communicate my feelings. It took me many hours to get the look I wanted, but even then I wasn't sure how someone else would "see" it. Thank you to everyone for sharing comments.

Nice layout. I like the blending, it's very pretty.
  4. I'm making a concerted effort to journal for a full year, and to be consistent, something I've never done before, with at least one picture of myself in the layouts. I guess it's a self-portrait type project, something I've never done before either. This particular week is the story of tempers flaring, family hurting. Hard to talk about, in words anyway. Yummy Confection

I used the free World Card Day card template but turned it sideways for this card. This is Mackenzie's friend Rachel who had some candy that made her teeth turn green. She was being funny just in time for me to snap the camera. I used the freebie by Kimberly McKean from the newsletter. This is before it was printed so it's twice as long. Mackenzie wanted to send this to her friends that were with her that day. Not your typical card!
  6. My granddaughter Mackenzie chose the photo and the saying so she can send it to her friends. I used the free World Card Making card template.

I hope this isn't too big, but when I resize it, the frames enlarge so I left it as is. SNU Collage Art

  10. This is a picture of my husband's baseball team in 1964. He and his two brothers are in the picture, as well as so many friends and memories. Happy days they were! BMU Stacked Papers
  11. This was one of the best vacations ever. My two daughters and their children, my father (who was 90 at the time), and I went to Singer Island for a week. My husband and son couldn't make it but it was fun anyway. I have so many good photos and haven't had time to scrapbook them, but I'm working on it!
  12. My granddaughter Joce is learning to catch a football with her Grandpa, Mommy, and brother Owen. She kept at it till she caught it.
  13. This is beautiful, I love the blending and the colors! The texture on the background is nice too.

You are right, the whole layout says happy and carefree. It has a reminiscent quality to me. It's lovely! I think I'll go check out that kit!!

  21. I love this, the flowers at the top and the blending. It looks very tropical!!
  22. I have labored over this for the old building challenge. Just can't seem to be satisfied, but this is what I decided to go with. It's a beautiful building that was for sale and falling into disrepair. This picture was taken in April 2012. I get so sad when I see these beautiful historic buildings with no one to take care of it. If I could, I would. My supplies are listed in the EXIF file.
  23. I love this. It's simple but beautiful. The photos are beautiful too. Nice page.
  24. This is a beautiful page. The story is sad, but at least your memories will last. Nice picture and blending, the colors you chose help create the mood. Very nice page, I like it.
  25. The journaling says, "One morning my husband was taking me to work, and because it was a foggy morning, I decided to take my camera with me. I saw this barn and the fog and I thought it was beautiful. Some people don't like fog, but I do. July 12, 2012" See the EXIF file for the supplies.
