  1. Oh Ngaire, I would so love to meet you!! I'm afraid New Zealand is a bit out of range though.
  2. I'm in! Rooming with Michelle.
  3. Since I've decided to go to the Midwest Scarp Girls meet up, I guess I should get back to reading the forum. Hi everybody..

  4. Nevermind. I was being stupid. Got it figured out. Duh. It's been too long since I worked in Elements, obviously.
  5. I think this has just started happening since I upgraded to Windows 10, but Elements 10 is opening all of my .ai files as pdfs and then I can't access the layers. Argh!! I can open and access files that are saved as .psds and I don't know how so many of the files got saved with the .ai extension. Is there anything I can do to change Elements from opening the .ais as something I can't use? Pat
  6. I would be surprised if there wasn't a 14 this fall. They've done new versions every fall for a long time. I've found that Arobe is pretty quiet about it until closer to release date. I have no official knowledge though.
  7. April, that's the number one question that people who know me ask - "Are you getting a horse?" We do have room, the barn could be modified to make a good stall or two, but I've decided it's just not the prudent thing to do at this time in my life. I'm hoping to make friends with other horse owners in the area. Thank you all for the welcomes! Ngaire, I was especially excited to see you were back too.
  8. Hi everybody, Many of you here know me but I see a lot of new faces. I've been away for awhile but am going to try to get back to scrapping again - after the dust settles from our move. Those of you that are my friends on Facebook know what I'm talking about already. After 41 years of marriage, my husband and I decided it was time to fulfill a lifelong dream of moving to the country. We had made some new friends, through music, in Cass County, Iowa, so decided to find an acreage in that area. We found a lovely place the middle of January, closed on it Feb. 3rd, and we are all set to move on the 20th of this month! I'm hoping that I can soon scrap photos of our wonderful new home. It is 4.5 acres, with a 1920's house, a shed and a pole barn. The house has been updated inside and out. It's a little bit smaller than what we've been in the last 20 years so the move is entailing some downsizing. It was time. Mike is "retiring" from his second career with Habitat for Humanity and will be planting aronia berries to grow and harvest. I hope to have a small garden, a few fruit trees, and some chickens. We are very, very happy and excited about our move. I've missed being around Scrap Girls and hope to be spending time here again soon.
