  1. has not scrapbooked very much lately. Lots of changes on SG!

  2. "Lickley" is a play-on words....their last name is Lickley. Pronounced Likely. I know, I don't get it either.
  3. My mom saw a desktop that I'd made for myself and commented on how cool it was....so I made one for her. It doesn't have a calendar on it because...I don't think I'd be able to make another one by April...and making a calendar seemed like a pretty big hassle. Anyway, I think she'll like it. I just hope it's the right size. Used: SG - Affection Collection by Thao Cosgrove (just bought it and I love it!) SG - STI Aged Frameset JBaechtold "Thankful" collection Shawna Clingerman "I love Mom" collection Vicki Stegall "Rock On" frames and butterfly RRoses Buttons Shabby Princess Promise button LDD Vintage Dreams ribbon
  4. My husband's grandma asked us to make an invitation for their upcoming reunion. She said "just make it one page" and gave me the text. How fun! Their family grew up on a ranch, with lots of cowboys and ropers, and that's where the reunion will be. I had fun making this invite and the RSVP cards to go with it. They're black and white by request. Color would've been fun. I used Photoshop CS2. Fonts: Bodoni, Western, Bleeding Cowboy. (last two from dafont.com) Paper backgrounds: 2peas freebie "rough riders" by Sandy Krieger, amanda freebie2, Thora crumpled paper Star: SBA_AYO Berry Branch star (don't remember other details) Hat: Jackie Eckles December 2006 web challenge freebie, of designerdigitals.com

  6. You don't have a bro-in-law named Joe, do you? I only ask because I work with a Joe Copeland who's from Missouri. And, well, I just had to ask lol.

  7. I think the brushwork is great. I'm still experimenting with brushes myself...i seem to forget i have them! You asked for some CC...so my only suggestion was in the actual photos themselves...of bringing down the blue tone a bit, warming it up with some more yellow tones. I'm not sure if/how that works in PSE, though.

  12. thanks for your comments on my NC pages...I remembered seeing your Tuscan countryside and loving all the white in it. I think that's partly what inspired my pages!

  13. For the color challenge, using that limey green color. I think I need to recolor that twisty metal thing so it doesn't look like a snake Quote: This is courtship all the world over - the man all tongue; the woman all ears. -- Emily Murphy (http://www.brainyquote.com/) Frame: Debra Tope Ribbons & stitched border: Shabby Princess, LHowell (Lovebirds kit), TKA Lovelovelove, Paper Scraps: Vickie Stegall Doodles: Zazou Clip: JCantrill, mod monday Paper piece: LRiordan Funky Floral Tape: CGibson Squiggle: KayW from an ad challenge Fonts: Fundamental rush and juliesgirltalk

    Scrappy Swap for Monika

I really like what you did with this one. It's so pretty! Thanks for working on it. I think my favorite part about the page is how you brought the frame and the photo together...it just melts into the weeping willow.
