Randi & I decided to use the same pix & each do a layout, then compare.
I like hers a lot more, but since I'm pretty new to digital scrapbooking, I'm happy with mine, too.
We were trying to use 'family' as a theme for our verses on our layouts.

These are great pages! Using the 'window' in Panera - what a great idea!! Also, I love that you used the pic of the wall in Panera as the background. I hope that I'll get as good as you at this some day.

WOW, this pic is full of patriotism, color, love & fantastic technique! I love how the pictures are bending a bit & have a little shadow behind them.

Ditto, I love the vellum look & the swirls - even though they are over the background picture, you can still see it & enjoy the beauty of it.
Also, like the smaller pix on the bottom - great LO!

I would call it Mountain Dew green :-) It looks delicious!
I really like how the wording is faded so much that you have to look closely to read it.
I'm quite fond of the people in the pix, too. Ya'll are so wonderful & amazing!

Your window shopping photos show so much culture! I bet the trip was amazing. IMO there's no better way to keep all those memories bt to scrapbook them.
