      We have had so many rain storms go just south or north of us this summer. We're supposed finally get a soaking rain tonight. We'll see.

      In MI, the weather has been so screwy that the leaves are changing already! If it keeps this up, all that the "Fall Color Tours" are going to see are bare branches.

      hahaha...either your daughter is quick or the AP teacher likes to torture the kids! I never mentioned the Test directly until Christmas. Then I'd assign a huge packet full of AP question to review over the break...

      We went through that last year! Became a family affair and all of us parents joined in bringing snacks for teacher's review sessions she started in March after school. Stressful & exhausting but worth it! :) Good luck to your daughter!

    My exchange students go home in a few hours. They just went to bed and I am still up printing pictures and copying onto thumb drives to send home. I need to get them up at 3 am. Should I go to bed or just stay up?

    Thinking about how cool it is that we can look at a computer screen and make our fingers type on a keyboard at which we aren't looking, and communicate our thoughts and develop friendships. It's pretty amazing when you think about it.
