  1. This is so different from anything I've seen. I used to have a friend who was very into fractals, but I've never seen them applied this way. It's a lovely tribute, too, to the designer and your friend. I dig what the light does to her fingers and her hair. Thanks for sharing!

    Fly

I was inspired by your layout to try out the stroke idea in PSP--I couldn't quite translate it from PS to PSP, but through trial and error, I came up with the general idea. I wanted you to know--and to say thanks! I learned new tricks from you Learning to Focus

Oh Anna--this is just wonderful! It looks so clean and I think (deceptively) simple. I love the way you blended the background in from the photo and highlighted the very best part of the picture. It's just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing it!

    Before & After

Wow you look so different. I love the dark and wish I could pull it off myself! I had to look close to figure out why you look so different! What color are your eyes? They look so blue in the "after" picture! Thanks so much for sharing this fun memory

    Engagement night

This LO is so unique--I've never seen one like it. I love how you curled the edge of the menu and still left the spoon and edge of the glass showing underneath. The photos are gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing!

    The Little Things

I love how you embellished your photo. Nice work!

    90th Birthday

What a lovely tribute--it's so nicely arranged, which is hard to do in one LO. Well done!

    Emblem Photo 1

I like this one best too--maybe it's the boldness of the "proud," but for sure it's the alignment of your photos and text. In the other one, my eyes had trouble--someone else said "squiggy" and I can't think of another word for it. I love what you've done with the new one with the cool frame on the smaller picture. It draws my eye right in. I think it looks great as is, but I also think if you want to bring in more embellies or stitching, go for it. Thanks for sharing your family with us.
  9. I love this layout--the center shot is gorgeous and the word art is placed just perfectly. What's even cooler? Look at the photostrip up there--with Daddy's picture next to this one. Their expressions are almost mirrored! Just lovely.
  10. Wow Sandy....I love this LO. I can't believe you're a brand-new scrapper! Well-done and nicely balanced.
  11. Oh I love this LO. Your journaling is perfect--it's so meaningful and pretty to look at--but the focus remains on your beautiful daughter. I love the brush work too. Well done!
  12. Oh this is just wonderful! You've captured the memory (and the feel of the era) perfectly
  13. I love the stitching too. I also love how balanced your LO is...both visually and color-wise. Well done! Amy

    This is better

I think the layout was good before--isn't it amazing how a couple of small changes can make such a huge difference? I even love how you changed the font on the "dirty" in the title. Well done! Amy
  15. Oh Ang! She's just lovely. The card is darling--I'm sure the fam loves it. Congrats Amy
  16. Lori this layout is so very powerful to me. I imagine a sort of slow motion shift in his expression and, well, it just took my breath away. It also made me think of something else I'd seen today, something moving--a piece of word art I'd seen somewhere. I searched for it again (trying to backtrack where I'd been) and found myself again in today's SG newsletter. There's a shot of a card from Heidi Dillon about courage and facing life. It's astonishing that I'd see your layout a couple hours later and again be filled (only this time, with a beautiful illustration and wow, twice in one day!) with the concept of courage. His and yours. Thank you. Amy

    In Stitches

This layout is wonderfully balanced. I love how you (intentionally?) pulled the color from your bright shirt in the photo and triangle-d the colors over the page. My eye started with the journalling and just went right around and zoomed into the photo. Very well done! Amy

    Breakaway

Oh this is just breathtaking. My eyes are drawn immediately to your face and I can't help but wonder what you were thinking/watching/feeling. I love the way you've used blending modes and how soft everything looks. TFS Amy
  19. Wow what an amazing difference! The font even is perfect and in keeping with the era of the photo. Lovely redo Amy
  20. What a gorgeous color array you've used to complement such a lovely season. I love the details--the leaves peeking out from the bottom add a sweet touch. Thanks for sharing Amy
  21. This is a layout I built around a beautiful photograph (taken by Aunt Abby) of my husband and I with our 9 month old Lucy. It was such a wonderful moment and she captured our expressions perfectly. 22. This page is so delicate....it's wonderful how you varied the colors of the paisley around the edges. I love the stitching too. Amy
  23. This LO is stunning and so nicely balanced with color. I love what you did with the photo--I'd love to know what you did Well done. Amy

    Summer Fun

This LO is darling. I especially love how you kept it mostly neutral...it really makes the colors of the balls pop and my eyes were naturally drawn to the photos. Nicely done Amy
  25. Lovely. Just lovely. Amy
