On our summer vacation we ventured off to our first wine tasting at a local winery at Ocean Isle Beach, NC. What a fun time we had! This month's 3S Club kit, Tuscan Garden, was the perfect scrapkit to complement my photos. I loved the embellishments which included wonderful frames, brads, journaling tags and super wordart. They coordinated beautifully with the numerous background papers, too. My parents celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary last October '08. This month's 3S Club Kit inspired me to design a layout using their wedding picture and a photo taken at their Anniversary party. I headed straight to my mother's wedding album for the perfect photo to complement two of the 3S July Club kits offered this month. "Grandmother's Things" and "Grandmother's Favorite Things" were two kits that enhanced my mother's bridal photo beautifully. Full of nostalgia, these kits offered beautiful background papers with coordinated elements including an old fashioned hat, gloves, hand mirror, buttons, and rocking chair. This Wisteria plant is alive and well AND blooming in Miami, Florida! Not found in my local area, my mom brought this plant back with her from a visit to North Carolina several years ago. The first couple of years it struggled to stay alive but I got my first, long awaited bloom from this plant this summer. I couldn’t believe my eyes and, of course, I documented it for posterity!
