They were on the Roof! There was great speculation as to why Santa would do that. Were they too big to go down the chimney? Did they fall off the sleigh? Did he just drop them from the sky and not stop at all? After that every Christmas morning there was always one highly anticipated gift to be discovered and retrieved from the rooftop. -

Journaling: The last, most consistent Christmas for me was 2009. Since that time I have moved almost annually, been too close to homelessness, and bravely faced my new reality of this dang disorder. Once upon a time I looked forward to decking the halls but now that’s all in storage as I settle into the new, relaxed normal. That includes a minimal of decorations, no baking or cooking, and being able to just enjoy each moment. Gone are the days when I made a big “To Do” over the holidays, but I still very much look forward to them and the general feeling of love, happiness, and cheer the whole world seems to adopt at this time!
