The kids "camp out" in their sleeping bags in the living room and watch a movie - we schedule it to be over right around midnight, and the 8 and 5 year old are ALWAYS still awake. lol

Nothing for new year. DH's birthday is on the 2nd, so that is when we celebrate. The whole family comes around for a meal.
