Just dropped in to say hello to everyone. Feeling better, but still very tired. Two dr appointments tomorrow and one on Wednesday. Will keep everyone informed. Thanks for all of your prayers and good wishes. It means a lot to me. Love ya all.

lorac Dr visit yesterday. Platelets are way up, sugar is way down. Feel better, although still tired. Just resting and taking my meds. Another appointment with my Oncologist next Wednesday and my Primary on Monday. See you gals later.

lorac Morning everyone. I'm back home from a four day stay in the hospital due to a very low and dangerous platelet count. The count was around 2,000 when normal is over 70,000. Will post later, as it's a very long story.

lorac Just heard about the horrible fires in Southern California. I hope everyone is safe out there. Fortunately all of my friends don't live in the fire zone. Saying prayers for everyone.

lorac I just 'permanently' deleted my FaceBook account. I did what I needed to do while on FB and now I'm done with them.

I don't like what the CEO is doing. I don't like what is allowed to be posted on FB, I don't like that the corporation doesn't pay any income tax, yet gets a tax refund. I don't like that he is now all for the pipeline. I could go on, but I won't.

Carol, I personally do not like facebook... caused a friend of a friend to lose their congregation in a Church over false gossip.

I've heard so many stories like that about FB. I only joined so that I could get in contact with a friend that I couldn't find. Found her and now I'm out of there, for good.
lorac I woke up depressed and crying. I'm going to spend as much time as I can here at SG today. Checking out the gallery and leaving love will help me get out of this funk. I might even do my layout for the Swap and maybe catch up on some challenges. Please send me some energy and happy thoughts.

lorac I went for my PETScan yesterday. Now the wait begins for the results. Should hear something today. Please say prayers that everything turns out okay and they find out what is causing my enlarged spleen and that it's not cancer.

Yes it has an app built in to take you to the classic desktop, still with differences though. But hang in there I like it, it just takes time. I am mostly in the classic view anyway, but just google shortcuts for it and the learning goes faster....

Go the the member tab of the forum and search for Carbonite. There is Len-Carbonite and Carbonite Service. Try sending one or both of them a PM.
lorac Just got my new computer. It's a HP Pavillion 23 all in one. Monitor is 23 inches and it's huge. Windows 8 is unreal and kind of confusing. Aggie will be here on Saturday so maybe we can both figure it out.

lorac I was watching 'Greatest Story Ever Told' earlier tonight. At the end of the movie as Jesus was saying "Into your hands I commend my spirit', the church bells from the church down the street started to ring. I got chills running up and down my body. Unreal!

Thanks for sharing that Carol & that sounds like a tract that we've read... the church bells tolled 13 times instead of 12 & later he saved the other man from going to the gallows who heard them too - spooky... We had a lovely Easter & a sunny one too!
