Matadors and a Princess  So I wanted the BOYS to be interested in scrapbooking and set each of them down in front of the boutique. Quite surprizing what they were interested in.

Matadors and a Princess  Wish I had a picture of it...but the moment was too fleeting. The kids informed me they were playing "clean out the sewers."

Matadors and a Princess  So I was curious...my photo lab charges twice the price for an 8.5x11 as it does for an 8x10....I wondered about the photo books...those all seem to be 8x11. Does any photolab/printer print 8.5x11 size reasonably or is this size exclusively for the home printers?

I print from home because it is convenient and cheaper. Because of how my printer works and how easy it is on ink, it costs me in the neighborhood of 60 cents a page - not including the price of the printer (of course). But I have to have a printer and I always get good ones because I like to print out photos and stuff on it. I like the prints to match my screen so I'm pretty careful about what I buy.

scrappingsimply.com - they print their matte prints on Fuji Crystal Archive photo paper. I've ordered from them and love their prints.

Lulu does 8 1/2 x 11 photo books, but not individual pages. Depending on what your doing and how much you're paying per print, it might be just as cheap to do a book from them. I've printed my calendars through them and they have great quality. I haven't done a book though.

Matadors and a Princess  Just got my pictures reorganized. They've been tangled up ever since we moved and I was using the laptop instead of the desktop. So now I'm ready to get some more stuff to scrapbook all the pictures that I forgot I took!

Matadors and a Princess  As a new Den mother for Bears...does anyone know of a way that digital scrapbooking could be used for the boys' acheivements or electives?

Well, they could build posters about something they've learned? Like basic first aid? I'm sorry, I don't know anything about Bears, I'm assuming it's like cub scouts?

Do they have a geneaology badge? Or one that would be easy to photograph and document?

Yes, Cub Scouts. They do a minimal family tree, and tell a story about a family member. They can earn a genealogy belt loop and pin, but that's the only things I came up with initially. That's what I use it for :) But now I'm thinking on these lines, they do have art and photography so maybe something in there might be benefited from my learning here at ScrapGirls. Thanks for your ideas.

If you don't find a topic already posted you can start a new one asking about what type of camera you are looking for.

It crashed min P
C too. I had to take my computer into the shop and have it reformatted. It wasn't all PSE 9's fault, but trying to install PSE 9 was the straw the broke the camel's back.
