One of my favorite places! You are gonna love it! All great suggestions above. You will definitely be walking a lot and probably taking pictures every couple feet because there are so many amazing sites and so much beauty every where you turn. Enjoy!!!

ladyscrapalot Thanks all for the birthday wishes! Made me feel special! Wish I was able to visit this wonderful purple place more often. Unfortunately I have to share my laptop w/my DD. She will get her own for graduation in June.

Yes, insurance will go up - oh well. I never pushed either of our DDs. So the one was a Junior and this one is a senior. I think it should be 18! Thanks for the congrats!

ladyscrapalot Thanks everyone for your encouraging your words yesterday. I do enjoy scrapping, and I love most of my LOs. My family and friends like them too. So I guess that's all that really matters!

ladyscrapalot I like my LOs but then when I look in the gallery I start doubt myself. How can I get past this? *sigh*

Frustrating, I know - there are some really talented people here. But if you enjoy the process, that's what is important. Try not to worry about anyone else's layout (except to steal ideas, of course). I know it's easier said than done.

Honestly, when I'm feeling like that, I ask for constructive criticism (cc). Sometimes, I get really good suggestions, and other times I get great reassurance. Either way, I feel better knowing that I'm not being judged but being helped.

I feel the same way too sometimes. I look in the gallery and think my layouts look stinky. But then I think, I enjoy what I'm doing and I shouldn't compare myself to anyone else. I've come a long way from when I started seven years ago.

They suspect an electrical short but don't know for sure yet. The fair ends Sunday and they've promised he'll be back for next year.
