DGD picked up a virus on my laptop. :( It took nearly 2 hours to get rid of it and who knows how long the full scan is going to take but hopefully all will be back to normal. Thanking my lucky stars I backed up all my scrap stuff and photos the other day!

laurielou56 Okay, the learning process begins all over. Received PSE11 in the mail yesterday and will install tomorrow on my day off so I have plenty of time to figure things out. I hope my transition from GIMP isn't too difficult!

laurielou56 Along with PSE11 I think I want a new camera . . . . I want to try and get in the habit of having it with me all the time and mine is too bulky and heavy.

I have a little point and shoot Nikon that goes with me everywhere, with a spare battery. I've captured some great shots with it.

I've got a Nikon as well. It will just fit in a pocket, but has manual controls as well.
laurielou56 I think I'm going to quit being a cheapskate and purchase Photoshop. GIMP is just not doing what I want it to do.

lol. I usually do something a little more healthy but my DGD wanted them and then didn't. DH won't touch them and I hate to waste them and they do taste pretty darn good! :)

not to be repetitive, but...all. the. time! Sometimes it's months before I finally find the missing component/color/inspiration or whatever and get it finished (just start over in a completely different direction). No shame in setting it aside!

laurielou56 Just found several rolls of undeveloped film from a trip down the Oregon Coast about 8 years ago. Can't wait to see what I've got here, if anything!
