Jean - the ring wasn't lost, the diamond just popped out of its setting. I found it in the pantry a few days later. Cathrine pulled a plastic bag out of the storage thing and shook it out, the diamond dropped onto the floor. Amazing that we found it.

The engagement photos were taken earlier though.
April Showers Trying out my mother's day present to make sure I really want it... a 18-270 lens for travel. So far it is fine.

My 70-300 is better for birds, I think. It has a lower F-stop at the maximum zoom. If I'm in my yard, I'm fine switching for a big, heavy lens, I just don't want to carry it all over England.
