KatieGrace  My husband broke his back on Sunday by falling down the stairs. He went to work yesterday and is going again today. I guess you can't keep a good man down.

Yikes! I'm glad he sounds like he's recovering, but it still doesn't sound too good. Maybe you can sit on him to keep him home for a while?

The doctors said he would be in extreme pain but the kind of fracture he has (compression fracture of the vertebra between the shoulder blades)can't be splinted so it just has to heal. They didn't restrict him so I can't either. They said he'd be knocked out by the pain pills so I'm sure they thought he'd be resting.
