jenrou  To Debbie: I enjoyed your story about oysters. Oysters are a very important delicacy here in VA, especially the Eastern part. There are oyster festivals, they are served at most special funtions, and usually served at holidays. While I don't care for them, everyone else seems to love them.

Good to know! I called my mom before I wrote it and I asked "why oysters" and she said she didn't think they were native. But if there are festivals there count me in!!
