MariJ  So you know the saying "Haste makes waste"? Well -- 3 stitches, splint, big bandage & xray-to-be-sure-I-hadn't-chipped-bone later ---- I wish I'd walked the few extra steps to get scissors and not use a knife to open a packet when baking. I was going to help a friend who'd just had surgery & had to call to say "your nurse is in the emergency room".
