Oh my goodness! It seems like forever since I have hosted a crop! Well, it's only been a month, but it still seems like a long time. Ok, you ready for some details on it?

Tonight I am trying something new -- an everyday-item inspiration crop! I have picked an item, and you are hereby challenge to create a LO using it for inspiration! Now, you may ask...does it have to look exactly like the item? NO WAY! The idea it to look at the item, and pick one or more things about it that inspire you! You might like the colors -- you might like the shapes -- you might like the overall design look -- you might like the way the text is laid out -- who knows!?! There is no right or wrong way.

Now, here's a link to the item that I *hope* will inspire you. Get busy on your layouts -- you can work on them before, during, or after the crop. You have until May 3 to complete this challenge. When you finish your layout, post it in the "art inspiration" part of the gallery here:

and it's always a good idea to post a link to your LO here in this thread (it's a great way to get lots of comments!).

Here's your everyday-item -- a book cover:

Thanks for the great crop everyone!!! It was fun!

Congratulations to Alyssa (photocrazy) for winning her choice of any ScrapSimple Paper Template set in the boutique! You can see all of our SS paper templates here: http://store.scrapgirls.com/category.php?cat=49

Remember! You all have time still to finish the inspiration challenge -- you have until May 3. Just checked the first post in this thread to see what to post your LO.

It's been a week since the crop, so I checked in to see who completed the challenge.

I give a big "way to go" to Annette, MLL, and Angela for completing the challenge of using the book cover for inspiration in a LO. :2468who-do-we-appreciate: Bravo!!!You all did a great job!
