April Showers
This is a real bow, out of ribbon, right? Think square knot. The concept is the same. I might have to go get a piece of ribbon to actually explain it.
Guest emactatty
yes, I have some satin ribbon and I kind of want to use the ribbon to keep the card closed with a pretty bow - It is a A5 Gate Fold Save the Date card - a trial run for my proper Wedding Invitations, which I will be making providing these turn out OK. April Showers
I got some ribbon and I really did try typing up instructions for this, but I think it was a bit too confusing. I have a lovely bow sitting here. I have done bows as closures for cards before. It isn't that hard, though it may take a bit of practice. If your bows are coming out lopsided, just try looping the ribbon the opposite way when you thread the second loop. Like under instead of over. It needs to go the opposite way of how you started your bow. Hope that made sense. Good luck.

I looked at this because my sister just got me the cutest purse with a ribbon tied around it. the bow came undone yesterday and I haven't been able to get it to look right since. Now I can! I think your explanation made perfect sense. Thanks! Jenn
