I bought the Photo Folds templates but can't figure out out to get a picture to work with it. I used the fill in option, but it just placed the picture on top of the template, and did't get it to work with the fold look
any help would be appreciated. I'm new at at this, so I'm sure its easy, but just can't figure it out.
Thanks for any help.

Actually they are easy once you get the hang of it.
I assembled all my "parts" in a new 8x10 document. THere should be 3 parts to the template and I also opened my photo so all of them are in the files bin. I used the drag and drop method to drag my files into the new document (except the photo). I did this so I could then save it as a PNG + which will keep my layers so I don't have to layer them up every time.
Save this to your folder.
Once it is assembled, select the gray shape layer that will be filled with your picture. One the top navigation bar go to Effects> Fill with Color or Texture> select picture. All of the files you have open should pop up on the right, choose your photo from here. If you didn't open your photo you can browse to it also from here.
Move it around how you want it, at this point you can even resize it to crop exactly how you want. Then hit done.
In your stack you can select your layers, right click and hit group, to "stick" them together so you can move them to your layout page and resize them altogether.
I hope that works for you. If you have any problems with it, let me know!
