Multiple Easy Pages Within Same Theme (kit)

I would love to buy more Easy Pages within the same theme (kit). I am not sure about everyone feels about that. I am new to the digital world and would love to have these Easy Pages so I can catch up with my old photos. In the store, it currently only have one page (usually with one main photo). It would be nice if they have at least two Easy pages together.

Just a request for a busy-working mom with kids!

Thanks for the request! It's always nice to get these types of recommendations from customers!

We don't know what you want if you don't tell us, you know? So, thanks for telling us! :dancingcow:

Easy pages are great, aren't they? And I hear you about the busy part -- I think that's what a lot of the digi-artists don't get about some of us... while I think creating the elements and all is just terrific, and I'm sure with time and practice I could learn, I'm really only looking to get my memories on a page at this point. Maybe when my kids are a lot bigger, it will be different, but right now, my computer time is so limited (and I spend a lot of it .. umm... trying to control chatty fingers!)

So you're not alone!!

Hi, Welcome. It's a lot of fun here, isn't it? What a good idea about 2 (or more?) matching easy pages. That would really be great for those who like doing 2 page spreads, huh? I work on 8 1/2 x 11 pages, and sometimes one page just isn't enough room to play on!! lol Leslie

Or maybe they should include the whole set of easy pages for the whole theme (album). Is that a crazy request??? I hope not :-) because I need more easy pages to catch up with my children ...

I agree - a whole album kit of easy pages would be great. I've seen a few around, but they're often too "cutesy" for me. It would be a wonderful way to catch up or to make a quick gift album when you're on short notice!

Agree with Vania16 100%! It is true that there were some album sets of easy pages out there but they are not my style! The designers that I like who do not make them yet ... Hope that they read this forum and will start them sooooon.

Perhaps the answer might be to allow customers to pick and choose a pack of easy pages ... and then have more variety in what's available as an easy page with a given kit. For example, April's Scrapgirls Club is a great set of papers and I love them. Other customers might like having 4, 5 or even 6 easy pages already done for them from the Cafe Sorbet set that they could just drop some photos on, do some journalling and have some incredible layouts done!

(now my admission ... I've never actually used an easy page LOL!)

See, in the past we were hearing that no one was using easy pages, and here's all these requests for them! We change to fit what *you* are looking for! So be on the look out for more easy pages and more bundled easy pages!

I wouldn't have touched an easy page with a ten foot pole if you hadn't offered that online class. Now I love them! I get such compliments on them whenever I use them - only other scrapgirls know that I've "cheated".

Also, these work together, but are sold separately:

My suggestion: rotate them at 90 degree increments for a whole new look.

And hang on, I'm just finishing 16 easy pages for babies!

Yeah! There's some great ones too - I also really like the funky mini-album with all the pages for a little album. If you guys could make one of that Etcetera kit I'd run to the store right now :runningdog:
In the meantime, I might have to buy the two pager :)

So cool you ladies are into this! I generally don't like to make Easy Pages, because I don't seem to use them myself, but it's so cool people want them AND aren't afraid to ask! YEAH! :D

I think the easy pages are really great. It sure does make it so much easier for my children to do thier own scrapbooking on the computer, so whenever I get the chance I make some up for them and then put them all in their "Scrapbooking for the Children" folder on the desktop. My children all love scrapbooking and it makes it so much easier as well as safer for them to do it on the computer and print it out than it is to get out the scissors or make a mess everywhere when it's winding down time. So please do keep them coming as my 10 yr old is saving her money for a few of them she's had her eye on.

What a great idea, making quick pages for the kids! My daughter is 11 and has been watching me create and trying to learn it (and doing an amazingly quick and good job at it) but she's always after all my elements .. which are on MY computer not hers and protected so she can't overwrite them. I'm trying to get her a DVD written but I have to unzip a bunch first... but this is SUCH a great idea!!! Thanks for sharing it!

You're so very welcome. I just thought it was approprate to put that idea here because of the topic. My children simply can't get enough of them these days. It's also a great thing for children who have physical disabilities and poor control over their hands. Printing them and then allowing them to add photos makes them feel so good and it shows them that they can still do things that others do, just in modified versions.

My 5 year old would LOVE this ... my 11 year old loves actually doing it on the computer, but the little ones would go ga ga... oh, you're a smart mommy!

Thank you. I try my best to keep my children out from in front of the TV as much as possible unless they are watching something with educational values to it. It also makes for great family time with them, and while we are all together scrapping, it gives us the perfect chence to reflect our own thoughts, feelings, and memories on each photo. The kids love it and are all so great at working and talking together and sharing their memories with each other. While we are going over the photos, sometimes we do run into arguments over who choses what photo, so be forwarned, and when neither wants to give in, don't get to frustrated, a scanner and a printer is a magnificent and magical fix, lol. With six children it was so hectic trying to do it all by hand, all together, all at the same time. I was always afraid of the way they were holding the scissors or not having the time before dinner to clean up the mess. Since the first few times we did it the all paper and make all our embellishments to, I have since learned to reserve the messier way for two children at a time one day a month, while the others are away visiting relatives or at school. It's amazing the LO they can come up with the messier way, but they all seem to like it the other way more, since they no longer have to help clean up the mess.
