I'm pretty new at this - this is my first post, and I've only done a couple of pages (can't quite decide if I'm ready to give up my paper!!). I've noticed a lot of tutorials for photoshop talk about clipping masks, and I'm just wondering if there is a way to do the same thing with my digital image?

What they are basically talking about with a clipping mask is taking a shape and "filling" it with a paper or photo. You can do this in DIP very easy. Take any shape and go to Effects in your tool bar at the top of the page> Fill with Color or Texture > Fill with Photo then you can browse for an image or if you have one open in your files you can pick it from there.

Hope that works for you. If you have trouble with it, let me know!

Sorry - I'm a little slow with my thanks, but here it is! :thanks: Looks like I have some more playing to do - right now I think I spend more time playing & experimenting than scrapping! Thats ok, its all fun!
