I can hardly believe it! I just got my new Digital Scrapbooking magazine. The first two issues came at least a month after I saw them sitting on bookstore shelves. This one, the Aug/Sept issue, came today and it isn't even July yet!! Yippee!! Just thought I would let you gals know so that you can be watching your mailboxes. Hopefully, they have gotten some of the glitches out of their mailing process.

I just got mine also! And the first thing I WANTED to do was run in to Scrapgirls and let you all know (ok, brag) but We were running late on bedtime and had to rush through baths, and snacks, and books...whew. I read it real fast while the kids were in the tub. As soon as I'm caught up on the boards, I'm going to devour it!!!

Hooray!!! for yeans!!! I am terribly frustrated with this subscription...I just got my june july last week. I got tired of waiting & bought it the same day the mail man brought it. maybe this one will come early ...doubt it but it is always good to dream...

I just got the Aug/Sept one...but I realized that I never got the Jun/July one. Saw it in the store yesterday maybe I'll have to go buy it. Maybe not...I just bought quite a bit here with the last sale and b-day $ he, he, he... So much fun when its on sale!!! I can't wait to use the TYO Sails Whales Collection...Have you seen it?? The papers are awesome!!... I should probably get scrapping!!!

Lauren, the third issue is ok. There are a few good tutorials in there for photoshop and some gorgeous layouts. Honestly though, it only took me about 1/2 hr to go through it. I didn't get the 2nd issue, so I can't compare to that. I think the first issue was much better than this one. I don't know...I could just have a bad taste in my mouth because I had to wait THREE MONTHS to get it! I hope that by the time the 4th issue comes out, I'll have gotten over my bad attitude towards that whole situation.

I think the mag is more about inspiration than learning.. lol... this issue had a full tutorial on making a ellement.. but its all pse... im going to try it in psp... then the how to section.. but those are reader submited... I still like looking at the layouts though. Theres always something that will spark my mind on a path of ideas.

okay, well Australia obviously has fallen off the map of the world, my SIL gave me a subscription for my birthday in April, it is now JULY and NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not happy at all!!! Hope you guys enjoy yours, at this rate I'll be old and grey before I see anything down here

I've been through my issue about three times now and I have to say I'm not that thrilled. I was looking for things to scraplift and just wasn't moved by anything. But then that's me. I guess I just didn't see any styles that appealed to me that much. I'm still searching for my "style." Don't know what it is but I'll know it when I see it.

Hummmmm I get the magazine and I think it is o.k., but then I think the regular paper focused mags are just ok too. Since I keep hearing this around the digi community, I'm just wondering what everyone is really looking for?
