Guest Cropnpix
Pam, I like yours from work: YMMV and WOMBAT. I think I'll have lots of uses for those. As for PK? Don't guess we'll be needing THAT one anymore. They went out of business with $20 of my subscription money.

Guest greyboxes
What does bump to top mean?
Current threads are shown at the top of message boards, so the most recent posts are likely to be seen by members. Sometimes posts get skipped or don't get many views, so members will reply with 'btt' or 'bump' in order to move the post to the top of the list. That way, anyone who hadn't noticed the thread previously can see it and reply. Also, if a post is old but still vaild- and particularly if a board has had a big influx of new members- members can bump a thread so that everyone knows about the information found in it. So bump to top means exactly that: bump the thread to the top of the board!

iwillfly525
I’m right there with Jaime's grandma. Only I’m and English as a second language teacher. Reading some of the posts was starting to make me feel like I was in one of my classes and wondering if we were still “speaking” in English or if it had morphed into something else. Thanks for the clarification.

Guest judyjrfm
That is SOOOOO funny. I just "assumed" that the DH was the harsher version and abbreviated for obvious reasons. I also thought it was done in fun so in my quirky mind that is how I will remember it- but I came searching for this info so thanks ladies for all the info. TTFN is one of my absolute favorite sayings. It is so fun and bubbly. I also use TAM Thanks a million but I do not know if this is a weird 'Judy thing' or if other people say it too. Wow.... I keep a running tally in my outlook notes to use as a cheatsheet- If anyone is interested [see attached]... I don't know what kind of software you use so this link may not help as it's for PSE 3. If you need more help go the the SG University. The SG University link is at the very top of this site right under the Girls part of SCRAP GIRLS logo. Guest MollyzMumzy
In my neck of the weeds, being in a service business add'l charges were ID'd as such, informally, and never documented but understood: The PITA charge: Pain in the a** - additional charge for those who took up more of your time as a professional than you were compensated for, and The JIC charge: Just in case - You anticipated forgetting to include some essential charges in your estimated costs, so just in case...., mark it up 10%!! These were always a joke..., or were they?
