I am grateful that I am not being sent 10 Mb attachments.

When I save my images for sending, I use the JPG Optimizer and use baseline 10 compression. I can't personally see any deterioration in the quality of the image with that amount. This usually keeps a 12x12 image under 3Mb. That's still large, but why ask for an image that size if that isn't what you need?

Are you ladies still having a problem reducing those LO's? I don't know much about that program, but I'll do some research...

Another question. Do we do the layouts in the order they are or can we do whichever ones first so long as we do them all?

At this point, I don't think it much matters...as long as we get them all done!!

I'm posting something in my gallery because I could really use some help as far as the artists trading card? I'm not really sure if I'm on the right track with it or not, so would someone please take a look and let me know. Thanks so much. I'm trying my best to get the second one done already, so please do take a look and let me know. Thanks.

1) I haven't yet received Alie's pages. I only have Angie's Petra's, and Teresa's pages.

2) I can't seem to find Valerie's gallery to look at her artist card.

3) I didn't know we were going haphazardly. I thought we were doing Angleigh's guilty pleasures journal this week. 2 6x6 pages, right?

Mine are in our CJ gallery. My guilty pleasure is checking out the gorgeous bodies on the superheroes in my comic books. I couldn't decide whether to go with full nudity, or sex scenes, or just beefcake, but when I came accross my Marvel Swimsuit issues, I figured I could convey the general idea without getting too sleazy.

They aren't great layouts - such gorgeous bodies don't need any embellishments - but the images speak for themselves.

I had to add people and move them around, so if you want to work in order, that is fine...If you get ahead, that is fine too...At this point with summmer coming, I just want to make sure they get done before vacations and such start.

OH! And I need ALL of you to post requirements if you haven't done so yet.

Thanks!

I didn't remember to put a link to my gallery. I'm not to sure still on whether or not I'm on the right track for an artist card, so please someone take a look and let me know. Here's the link for my gallery. I'm not finished with it yet, but want to make sure I'm on the right track of what an artist's card is. My Gallery

I finally found the graphics I want for this poem, but now I'm not sure what an A4 size page is. Could you be more specific in terms of dimensions?

I have gotten done Theresa's, Juliet's & Petras, but still trying to figure out which way is best to save and email them? When I saved the three for Juliet's CJ, it only comes to just under four mb's, but I'm not sure if I did it right. When I look at them through my browser they look right, but I'm not sure about getting them into e-mail without the huge file size, so please help. I'm using Paintshop Pro but also have photoshop and could use that even if somone here could tell me the best way to save and email them. I have winzip also that I could use to zip and compress them some with, but I'm not too sure at how much it would be able to compress them to email them. So, Please help so I can get these sent out in e-mails. Thanks.

I have tried zipping graphics, but it doesn't seem to do much good as far as reducing file size. I think you just have to know that this is going to be big space eater in your inbox, and if yours is small, you might ask people to send pages separately, or even assign people different days to send their pages.

If you're still having problems sending the LO's you can always use something like yousendit.com for sending larger files. I've used it in the past to send zips of lots of photos and it works great.

Juliet, you should have mail, not sure if file size is good enough, so if not please let me know and I can retry.

Theresa & Petra, yours will be on its way very soon. As I have said above to Juliet, if there is a problem with the file sizes please let me know and I can retry sending.

I'm working on sending Theresa's now. Also, I'm nearly done with Katrina's, Angie's, and Maries.

I'm not sure but somehow I got way lost on whose to do and in what order, but I will be leaving around the ninth of June for a week or two, so I'm trying to get them all done before I go.

And the guilty pleasures, I'm just really loving those colors for it, but I've changed the lo so many times, lol.

Thanks!

Okay, I got Theresa's emailed now as well. Took me a bit, was kind of sidetracked for a while with the games here on the board and the phone. LOL. Okay, now I'm off to the bus stop to meet the little rug runners. All the ones I did so far for the CJ are in the gallery here, so have a look and I hope everyone likes them. ;)

I know I did this a little out of order, but I did this layout the other day and I love the beauty of the flower. I figured it would be perfect for Katrina's theme. The only thing I added was a sanded paper overlay to give it a little more of a grungy look.

Hope you like it

I am very much ashamed. I have been very busy lately, with work (I work as a teacher and have much correctionwork), with other swaps that are due at the end of may and other things. I will try and make my next assignment for the CJ before the end of the week. Hope you all can forgive me. The artistcard will be send soon.

greetings,
Petra

I really love the LO's I have seen so far.
Question from DH. Has anyone the recipe for Texas Tumbleweed? It was a sidedish we always ate at a Texas Restaurant in Rotterdam. Unfortunately the restaurant has been closed since a few years and we never ate it again. It is made of unions.

Thanks in advance,
Petra
