My fourth daughter Leah, because she is so silly and cute, and because she is the baby. 2. Who has influenced you a lot in your life? My mother, both in what to do and what not to do. 3. Who is your first memory of? My sister is less than a year younger than I am and I have a memory of her crawling. I think that is my first memory. 4. Who makes you smile no matter what? My children Favourites (no I did NOT spell that wrong…I'm just Canadian! Hah) 1. Colour? Cerulean blue, from Crayola, although I haven’t been able to find it lately 2. Food? I guess consistently it would be country vegetables and ham, like my Granny used to make, but it changes with my mood. 3. Socks? Barefooted country girl 5. Favourite thing about yourself? That I am usually calm. I also like my eyes. 6. Hobby other than Scrapping? sewing 7. Kind of book to read? Lately, homeschooling and scheduling books. I like mysteries, though. 8. Kind of movie to watch? I like comedies best. Ever since I began having children, I can’t stand scary ones, especially if they are realistic. I find myself afraid that the character could be one of my girls. 9. Song? I love Big Black Horse and the Cherry Tree but KT Tunstall, and everything Robert Plant/ Led Zeppelin. 10 Personality trait in another person? Honesty is the trait I value most 11. Season? Fall 12. I love scrapping because it gives me a chance to balance my creativity and be surprised by what turns out. 4. What is the first thing you do when you get up in the morning? Stretch in bed and have a big snuggle with my girls as they trickle in. 5. What is something that always makes you really happy and joyful? Watching my kids play and laugh 6. What do you look forward to the most? If I’m only talking about me, it would be getting back into shape. 7. If you could share one thing you've learned throughout your life with everyone, what would it be? Don’t be afraid of your mistakes or failures. Love yourself in spite of them and own everything you have ever been, even if you never want to be that again. 8. What are you afraid of? My children getting hurt and the world changing for the worse. 9. What is your happiest memory? The birth of my children 10. If you could invent something, no matter how hard or odd, what would you invent? A machine to zap my body back into shape and health. Why do you love scrapping? Digital scrapbooking gives me something to feel proud about when I’ve finished a page and really love it. I can use my creative energy, without feeling like if it ends up looking horrible, that there’s nothing I can do about it. I love that I can just delete it if I don’t like it and start over, without having wasted any supplies!! ☺ 4. What is the first thing you do when you get up in the morning? Usually go get my son because he’s the one waking me up with his need to get out of the crib. 5. What is something that always makes you really happy and joyful? I love the feeling of getting things accomplished, whether that be working on layouts on the computer, cleaning the house, or going through a to-do list. 6. What do you look forward to the most? The end of the day when my hubby gets home and I get to spend time with him. (Weekends, too, for that reason.) 7. The men in my life (Willy my goofball hubby, Ben my 9 year old smart-alek, Brady my 5 year old comedian and performer and Toby my 2 year old outrageously adorable toddler!) 2. Who has influenced you a lot in your life? Tons of people. It's so hard to narrow down to one or two. For the sake of simplicity I'll say my grandma. She's still alive and kicking at 85 years old. She's taught me a lot about prayer and spirituality, love and the importance of family. 3. Who is your first memory of? The youngest memory I have is of having a crush on the boy my mom babysat when I was 3 or 4. His name was John Castellero and he was soooooooo cute and a couple years older than me. Partly for the creative outlet and partly because I LOVE capturing our family's life moments on the camera and then showcasing them on a good scrapbook page 4. What is the first thing you do when you get up in the morning? Turn on the computer (well, after going to the bathroom and making sure the kids are okay LOL) 5. What is something that always makes you really happy and joyful? This is going to sound ridiculous, but I'm a HUGE fan of the t.v. show Friends and my husband teases me that the only thing he has to do to make me smile or loosen up or calm down is to quote a Friends episode or put one of my Friends DVDs in to watch. It's true. It makes me smile. 6. What do you look forward to the most? A time in the future when I'm comfortable with my weight and secure in our family finances 7. If you could share one thing you've learned throughout your life with everyone, what would it be? I read a quote once that said "Children will not be fooled; they know we give time to the things we love". I try to remember that my kids should see me giving the majority of my time to them and their dad, not my computer *blush* 8. What are you afraid of? spiders, other people near high edges, accidents 9. What is your happiest memory? I'm pretty sure no day quite beats my wedding day as far as "happiest memories" go. It was a lovely day, all around. 10. If you could invent something, no matter how hard or odd, what would you invent? Something to drastically speed up travel and make it more possible for people.
