I hope I'm posting in the right place.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get letters straight? When I am writing the letters in I do just fine but when I am using sticker letters that is a whole other story :banghead:. I do a great job when I don't want them even or straight (lol). So how can I keep them even and straight?

Thanks
Aly

I assume you're doing paper scrapping, right? Go to a store and ask for a pen that has dissappearing ink. Test first, though. Good to use for journaling, etc.. where you don't want to see the line later or have to try to erase it. Be sure and read the instructions closely. Hope that helps. :)

When I tried paper scrapping, I was told to NOT make it straight. Go with the crookedness as a design element LOL .... so I quite paper scrapping and have only scrapped again since I went digital!

Big help, eh?

When paper scrapping and using letter stickers, What I do when working with stickers, is to attach them to a piece of scrap paper, then trim around the sticker with a scissor, then I use glue dots to adhere them to the actual layout and when I really want them to be straight, I lay a t-square ruler down and use that as my guide.

If you are doing paper scrapping, I might suggest a template like Creative Memories "Titletopia". You can do straight, curvy, round, etc. I don't work for them or anything, I just like their products and this helps me because I have that problem too. Hope this helps.

I stick them barely on a ruler or some paper it is easy to get them off, then put the ruler on the layout and press the top of the stickers do on the layout. (only the bottoms of the stickers are attacked to the rulers). I then peel the stickers off the ruler and press them all the way down on the page. Since the top part of the stickers are already stuck, they are straight. Some letters are a bit hard to do this way (i.e. g, y and ones that go below the line.) But it works pretty well.
