Mommyof4
Some time ago I saw a layout in the gallery that was very sparkly....can't find it now....but I remember it was a Beatles song inspired layout...Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds..... Can someone tell me how to make a part of your layout sparkle. I don't mean glitter but something that looks like a light is hitting it...... Sorry if I am describing this funny but it is 3 in the morning!
Becca
Is this the layout you're referring to? http://scrapgirls.com.ipbhost.com/index.ph...i&img=14520 I'm not sure which part of that page you're talking about, though. Do you mean the photo or the entire page itself?
KBT
I am not sure if this is what you mean, but there is a little used brush in PSE that actually looks like a star or "ting" of a light hitting something (the criss-cross)- You can actually use it once, and then make it smaller and rotate it and then use it again. I know I used it lately (but not sitting in front of PSE at the moment... sorry) and I know there is a tutorial on it... I will get back to you if this is indeed what you are talking about! Sorry if I am describing this funny but it is 3 in the morning! For glitter you use the noise, duplicate and then animate for a simple glitter effect. For actual sparkles that blink You duplicate your image 2 or 3 times. You use a sparkle plugin to add sparkles to all copies. You use slightly different settings for each image copy. You animate the whole image with a animation program like imageready if you use PS or AS{Animation Shop }if you use PSP. Sparkle Globes are made this way. I think maybe that is what I need to do. If you can find the tutorial, I would very much appreciate it. I will also see if that "noise, duplicate" technique that GPamela mentioned will work for me. I use PSE. Thanks again for all your help ScrapGirls !
