You don't have to (and aren't expected to) respond to every post. This is a thread to chat about your day, vent, wonder what's for lunch, vent, discuss your uncomfortable bra, brag about a great bargain find, chat, vent, ask a quick question, be sarcastic if the mood strikes you, etc.
Just let it all out... (Go ahead, fling that bra! LOL!)

My tongue hurts. Yep, my tongue. How does that even happen? It's not like I bit it either. it feels like a taste bud exploded or something. What's that about?

My tongue still hurts.
I had coffee and managed to spill some on me. On my knee. Not even sure *how* I did that!

Anyway--I can't find the LOs that I was going to use to teach the class!!!! I had them loose somewhere. And I think I remember putting them up so they wouldn't get bent/creased--and so I wouldn't forget where I put them!
Well, I guess that is what I get for last minute preparation! I mean, it really isn't last minute, but then again, I guess it is!
What to do? The LSS has copies of my LOs on display (to advertise the class). I can attempt to teach with them, but I don't have them in front of me tonight to get things straight in my head!
The class is about mixing patterned paper. Hmmmm. Off to search online for some 'lecture' material...

But now it's back to reality! My oldest DS starts school tomorrow, second greade.
We have our parent-teacher conference tomorrow with my little DS's teacher, starting Kindergarten this year. What an incredible thought!
Poor DH is fighting with the bills. Opened two in a row that said they hadn't gotten the payment last month, even though he has copies of the checks/email confirmation that he paid!!! UGH!!
And he's already decided he's staying home from work tomorrow to get our new DVD done. It's gotta get burned to disk, and reviewed tomorrow, and in the mail to the repro house so we'll have the copies we need for Memory Trends...which is just 3 WEEKS AWAY!!!! AAAAAHHHH!!! TOO much to doo!!!

Now there's logic for you. Staying up late because I have to get up early.
That sounds like something my 3 year old grandson would want to do.
Wahhh... LOL

This thing is driving me crazy - full color, doublesided, trifold brochure. And he wants to try a *new* printing place... grrrrrr...

With four sole proprietorships (LONG STORY---I'll have to scrap it---LOL), and a DH who never balances a checkbook or tracks an invoice or remembers what he quotes, or saves his receipts, it was all I could do to keep from killing him.
No longer is it me who does everything bill related, its her! Gives me time to create and if we ever get audited (gawd forbid) our books will be CLEAN!

ACK! Talina---I know what you mean.
I at least have my own studio, so I can escape but my DH has been "home" most of the time we've been together (8 years) and I'm just not used to it. I love my solitude.
He does a lot of stuff: silkscreens tee shirts, paints, builds furniture, grows vegetables, but his income has been inconsistent.
This last year our roles reversed and I went from being the major breadwinner, to, well....reinventing myself (again). It required him to get something slightly more consistent so now he has a construction job and I love it when he LEAVES every day!
This last week, they were waiting for design changes and bldg. supplies, so he didn't work but he left today and I waved a hearty SEE YOU TONITE! lol

He has his own studio. It's not like I needed the help at this moment, what I need to do is keep working on my page sets!
Now he's not talking to me. Oh well. Win some, lose some! At least he's not in my space! I'll sooth his ruffled feathers lately. MEN!

My DH is at home all day every day for the last 16 years! It was a case of who ever got a job first took it and the other would look after our DS. I got the job, it paid well enough for DH to stay home and rear DS and a great job he did too. Occasionally he gets once off jobs and it's great to have the house to my self especially if DS is out too!! Dh and I share a room for our computers, so we are side by side most of the time, luckilly we do get on very well and share the same sense of humour, we don't "interfere" with each others projects unless asked. But it annoys me when DS stands behind me and reads what I'm typing!! :tappingfingers: Still it could be worse, we could not get on and I'd find that unbearable. But I do look forward to days when I'm on my own even for a couple of hours!! It's heaven!!
